“Nectarine Grove is a favorite. Almost everything, if not everything, on the menu, is gluten free. They have a wide variety of food options and everything I’ve ordered here tastes delicious! One of the few restaurants around that also does not cook with seed oils! Chicken and Waffles (The chicken is plantain crusted!) , Breakfast Tacos, Chimichurri Steak Bowl, & the Pizzas are a handful of personal favorites. They have a cooler full of rotating desserts that are all really tasty as well. The staff is friendly and attentive. Many of them have actually become friends over the years. They also stock a large selection and variety of drinks. From coffees, to beer and kombuchas, and specialty drink choices. Though I usually stick with the free water. Stoked to have Nectarine Grove in San Diego. We need more restaurants that cook with real butter, coconut oil, and quality whole food ingredients. It’s fairly easy to spend $20-$30 here per person, but I always leave feeling like it was well worth it, & satisfied!”

“I visited tower lanes this afternoon with a group of ten and they were very accommodating. This would be great for a kids birthday party. There is a restaurant that has great low priced diner food. I was very happy with my BLT and side salad. Other dishes that were well received were the chicken strips, Caesar wrap, and Ruben sandwich. I’ve heard great recommendations about the bar. The bowling lanes were plentiful and we had a ton of fun mini golfing. This is a one stop shop for family fun!”

“Tried it at the Clark Co PUD fair. So it was the food truck. Good flavors. I suggest to say beef asado, beef barolio and chicken Tnga. Very accommodating and generous. My tacos were nothing like I remember. I'm assuming this is a different truck from when I came years ago because the food had flavor and SPICE! Loved my tacos and I'm already looking forward to coming back to try a burrito or torta. We had Pastor, Asada, and tripa and they were all cooked perfect. Not dried out and not greasy at all. I also liked how clean the area looked. Tables look like they wipe them down and no garbage all over the floor. From food to service to the location it's all perfect.”

“We went here for lunch with family members and we truly enjoyed our experience. I built my own bowl, everything was clearly labeled where you could see what your options were as you moved down the line. I threw a lot of extra in the bowl because I really wanted to try the falafel and spicy meatballs which does cost a little bit more. My hubby got an item off the menu and he wasn't disappointed. Everything was truly flavorful. The atmosphere inside was great, very easy to carry on a conversation with your table. I will have to keep my eyes open for other CAVA locations.”

It was more tropical sweet flavor and I was looking for the sour spicy taste of the tamarindo. Either way good tho. Also order a crab claw that came out with a rock to crack. And some tacos de pescado Price wise, def a little more pricey this it’s Neighbors but the quality and selection is pretty good. “Regular Chipotle beef with gluten free bread 🍞 is the top. Very caring when preparing my order. I am gluten sensitive and also have a pork allergy. It was an online order. I put a memo to please do not cook on the same Grill as beef or pork items due to an allergy and that it needs to be #GlutenFree. When I arrive to pick up my order the manager explained to me that they cleaned the grilled so they could cook my meat separate. 🥰 I always appreciate when a restaurant is respectful of food allergy. I know it should be their job but some places don't take the extra time.”

The appetizer we had was called a tomato stack, it came with fresh mozzarella and prosciutto and it was gluten free! I would definitely order it again. For dessert, my wife had the almond tort, and my father in law had the Bavarian chocolate cake. They make all the desserts on site. Jess was out server, really nice, super helpful with everything, and did a great job taking care of us. If you are out for a drive in the Laurelhighlands on a Sunday afternoon I recommend stopping in and giving it a try. For the price and quality you can't beat the surf and turf special!”
