“Beautiful winery with modern decor and top notch food. We went there on Labor Day long weekend and were pleasantly impressed with the quality of food and wines. This was perhaps the ONLY wineries still accepting reservations on the day of. Plenty of parking available and they were able to seat us in the outdoor patio in the shade by the water feature. The winery is beautiful, with endless vines and a a glimpse of the lake. Its modern architecture is very impressive, clean lines, high ceiling, giant glass windows accentuating the landscape around. Food was very decent,from appetizer to entree and to desserts, all well prepared and really tasty. Prices are on the higher end but not ridiculous, and on par with the region. The road to this vineyard is also very beautiful, take time to enjoy the sights. Recommend!”

Although it was their mild level it still had a kick. The fries were hot and crunchy and they have a really good ranch. “This was my first time dining at Masterpiece. We had the chicken fried rice, beef fried noodles, fried pork, zhong dumplings, and sizzling beef with pepper. Every dish was very delicious. You could also taste that everything is made to order and very fresh. My favorite item was the fried pork. It was tossed with fresh cilantro, dried chilies, and diced garlic. It was unexpectedly spicy but I could not stop eating it. I highly recommend Masterpiece for a great food experience.”

“We stopped here after a walk at Palmer Park. There were a lot of bakery choices but they were all basic the same. Nuts or berries, or both. I went with shortbread with mixed berry jam. Which, turned out to have nuts. 😐 It was harder than I expected for shortbread and filled with nuts, but the berry jam was tasty. It was edible and cheaper than some coffee shop pastries, but I wouldn't buy it again. I'm not really sure what my companions got but other than the biscotti, which was also very hard, everyone seemed to enjoy their drinks.”

“We stopped for a day in Metairie on our way back from a Gulf Shores trip. We ate dinner here and I just cannot think of any Italian restaurant that I have ever eaten at that tested this good. I know that you're probably thinking, "yeah but all American Italian restaurants pretty much taste the same". Not this one. I got the meal that it is chicken parm & eggplant parm for when you can't choose which parm you want. It was so freaking delicious. Even my side salad was amazing and they make all their own dressings! I got honey mustard & it was fantastic. All of the other meals we got were super delicious and everyone was more than satisfied, which is rare. The staff was incredibly friendly. Even their iced tea was really good. I know that sounds silly, but we just thought everything was so great. I wish I didnt live so far away so I could eat here every week. Definitely will be back when we come to Metairie again. 😊”
