“Very cool small town bar. Stopped in to check it out because I heard they have gizzards. Unfortunately, they were out but offered chicken hearts as a substitute. Although, I like chicken hearts I doubted I could eat a basket of them and passed. Instead, I had chicken wings, fries, onion petals, broccoli and bacon cheese bites, and breaded mushrooms. It was some of the best bar food I've had in a long time. I also enjoyed some cold Miller Lites to wash it all down. Nothing fancy about the atmosphere, but I think that's one of the things that makes the place. Service was outstanding! I didn't catch the lady's name but she was hustling and taking care of everyone. I'm certain this isn't the last time I'll be there. Check it out! UPDATE: I made a return trip to try the gizzards. They're a no for me. I prefer mine crisp with a crunch or snap when I bite into them. These were more like they were pre-cooked to tenderize them and then battered and deep fried. They're like they have at 9 Mile Restaurant, which obviously I didn't like either.”

The chicken taco was crunchy and delicious but was a little dry. The burrito and enchilada were fantastic. The iced tea came from a gun and tasted like melted plastic. I then requested water which was good. The service was great. The server was polite, professional and attentive. The location was very clean and extremely well maintained.”

The lady told us about a local rodeo that had food trucks. We went. My food truck server was wearing a hat from here. I inquired what it was and where it was. It was on our route home. We stopped. Grandslam Homerun. Truly a breathtaking view of the river and just a beautiful building. We had beer that was good. They were having an oyster roast. One of my relatives went for it and ate his weight in roasted oysters. If you are in Elizabeth City you really need to make this place a stop”

“I have no idea how anyone can say they received bad food here. Our food is always amazing. So much so I told my husband he’s not allowed to order pizza from anywhere else. I will never order from dominoes (always late and messes our pizza up every single time), Pizza Hut (extremely greasy and always makes me sick) or Little Caesars (always ends up burnt) again. Marcos Pizza is so good. I never get sick after eating here either. Our pizza is always cooked perfectly and ALWAYS delivered super fast. Let ordered and delivered in less than 30 minutes. We recently just tried their calzone and it is GREAT! 👍🏼 10/10 recommend!”

“So glad I tried this place!! The people here are very welcoming and helped a very indecisive person like myself chose what to order. Their fried rice is soo good especially with their yum yum sauce and/ or the teriyaki sauce.... the wings are straight but I probably wouldn’t go there for the wings.... they have awesome burgers. I loved the turkey burger probably the best one I’ve had.. the fries were straight too... the chicken Philly was great!! Also they give you a lot of food so the prices match for what you buy!”
