“I stopped in here back in early July while on my road trip heading west. This was my first time in the state, I was recommended by those who make the drive from east to west to blow through Kansas, but I wanted to check it out and Marion was where we ended up stopping that night. Walked into Parlour 1886 and was very pleased! I the atmosphere was amazing, our waitress and what seemed to be a manager walking around were so sweet and we had great conversation about the hotel and the town itself. I got the chicken cutlet sandwich and it was 10/10! I can't wait to stop off in Marion again the next time I'm headed that way!”

Our waitress this evening was Rheanna, and she was friendly, professional, and completely on top of things. She was bringing us drink refills before we asked, she kept checking on us to make sure everything was good, and she kept those hot fresh rolls coming to our table. The food was good to very good, it came out quickly, and it was hot. I love the atmosphere at this place too, especially the mix of customers both young and old, including families with children. “Back in the 2000s the rage were those restaurants where you had these wooden placeholders with green on one side and red on the other. They would bring you meat until they closed or you gave up and told them to stop. The price was reasonable, and if you had the fortitude, the experience was one of a kind. Now that I am older I am very particular about what I put in my body and the types of cuts that are worth putting in. So when we found out about Luso which has an all you can eat (meat) option, I was ready to give it a try again. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff is helpful and patient. The food was great and memorable, I would like to go here again if it wasn't that far out in Long Island. They also have other entrees that I would like to try in the future. Definitely worth going to for the price.”
