My three tacos were really tasty, but the Chorizo was the best of the proteins, with El Pastor being 2nd and the grilled steak being third with a large chunk of gristle. “Alyssa was our server, very polite! She was quick to refill our waters, and very cordial in general. She did have to speak up once, but that would be my only complaint. The food took ~30 minutes to come out, but this makes sense since we ordered a deep dish pizza. It was SO GOOD; we definitely need to come here more often. Also, the place had a nice vibe to it; the music wasn’t too loud, and the booth we sat in was comfortable. There’s also lots of musical history on the walls, so that was fun to read about. “Heard about this place through word of mouth recommendation. Went here for mothers day with my wife, kids, and my mother. My brother-in-law, his wife, and their toddler joined last minute and the server was very accommodating with fitting them in to our reservation. It was the first time any of us had eaten here. Today there was a sepacial mothers day brunch menu available which many of us ordered from, but the regular menu also had some good options. None of the food disappointed and we were all happy with what we ordered. The server was attentive to us and checked in on us often, and we didn't have to wait too long for anything that we would ask for.”

“We stopped by on a Saturday evening. Our first visit was awesome. The food was very well prepared and the service excellent throughout the meal. We started with the broccoli cheese poppers. The ranch was an excellent dip for these which came hot from fryer! For dinner we chose the Honey Stung Fried Chicken. A very crispy fried half-chicken with a honey drizzle for sweetness. Finally for dessert we had a chilled piece of lemon meringue pie. Yum Yum! Definitely coming back again. They have comedy shows on the 2nd Saturday of each month. Sells out fast.”

“Great breakfast options until 2pm. Situated in the Port Townsend Boat Haven/marina. Parking was tricky, but after almost completing a circle around the building, I found a parking spot next to a beautiful wooden boat. I ordered a mimosa, which came in a juice glass. We got there about 1120 am on a Monday and beat the rush. We watched a few parties get.put on a wait, but not for very long. In good weather, there are picnic tables for outdoor eating. I had the super veggie has deluxe with bacon, over medium eggs and toast. It was AMAZING!!! My friend got the South of the border scramble and enjoyed it.”

When we picked up the order this morning, we were greeted by happy faces, smiles and it truly made our start of the day fantastic! The location on the corner of Alton and Culver is convenient and there is ample parking if you are on the go or if you have more time, there is a nice seating area outside with umbrellas. “Taqueria La Chilanguita Found this gem of a place tucked between a gas station and a beauty salon. Swung by on a Tuesday but they were closed, forgot that I read it in one of the reviews and tips. Not to be discouraged I came back to check out what's up with the near perfect rating. Got there before noon and I saw but one parking space available so I quickly eased into it. Walked inside and noted that out of the ten tables, 6 were occupied, one had a booster seat on top of the table, another was quickly taken by the man who walked in front of me so l had to take what's available. I sat on one end of two tables put together to form a long one I guess in case of bigger groups, not a lone diner like myself. The hostess didn't say anything though. It was a few minutes after, that I got a menu and decided on machaca con huevos. When the lady came to take my order I told her I wanted the machaca and pointed at the picture of a plate with what I presumed was shredded beef, two sunny side up eggs, rice and beans. She told me that was carne asada plate and the machaca con huevos is made with scrambled eggs, onions, tomatoes, and shredded beef. In the end I went for the carne asada plate. It didn't take long before my plate was delivered to me and I salivated at the aromas that assailed my nostrils. The beans, although a little on the runny side, was creamy, the rice was fluffy, both were so flavorful they were a meal by themselves. The carne asada was really good. Way back when, I was invited to my friend's house and her mom cooked carne asada and homemade tortillas. This carne asada and house made tortillas (3 of them that came in a warmer) almost brought me to tears, as they reminded me of my friend and her mom, both of whom I haven't seen in ages. I was trying to pace myself and look composed as I tried not to shovel the food as fast as I wanted to, being the only non-Hispanic customer wanted to look cute. Really good food makes me lose my mind sometimes. Lol. I had coffee with my big breakfast. Strong and hot coffee that came in a good sized mug, not those dainty little cups, and a cute little tin cup of creamer. It was a perfect accompaniment to my heavy meal. As I made my way to the cashier to pay, I noticed a glass case with a variety of pan dulce (sweet bread). Got a dozen to go and I got a vanilla and chocolate conchas for free. Wow what a deal. Fast and friendly service, no wonder they have a near perfect score. It may be due to the not so great parking area, but I wouldn't dock a star for that. This place has got my two thumbs up. I'll be back for the machaca con huevos.”

“Update: I come back to this place for the second time within 36 hours for lunch. It is soooo amazing! The hot soup is the best!! glad to find this place!!! The outside gave me a little concern. But don’t judge the book by its cover!!! Inside is old but clean. The place run by a family. The lady that came to talk to me is very nice. I am impressed by the tea. It is Jasmine tea, very aroma. The crispy come for free. Then the main dish I order was Twice cooked pork. It was so yum!!! And then the orange, so fresh and cool! This place is very cheap too. I just notice that lunch will even be cheaper. I will come again soon!”
