“We were pleasantly surprised by this little out-of-the-way place. There was a large parking lot with ample handicap spots available. The lobby was spacious, plenty of room if there would be a wait. We were there around 1 pm with a large party of 20 adults, always a challenge when eating out together, and seated almost immediately. The service was simply excellent and the staff was so friendly and accommodating. Everyone was very pleased with their meal. They offer a full-size menu, (I mean HUGE!) something that most restaurants eliminated during Covid and didn't bring back. (If you say the menu is "typical," then you're just plain impossible to please and nothing ever makes you happy.) With that, there are lunch options until 3 p.m., and plenty of affordable menu options in addition to more complex dishes. The salsa runs on the hotter side which we absolutely loved. I ordered Pollo San Juan and it was, hands down, the BEST Mexican meal I've had in ages! It had the best combo of flavors and the cheese sauce was out of this world! Hubby ordered Texas Fajitas and he was equally pleased. If you're looking for some great, authentic Mexican food, this would certainly be worth the drive around Middle Tennessee. This place is over an hour from our home but we WILL be back!”

I am not normally a fan of that as I am a pico de gallo person but I tried all of their salsas and the light green guacamole sauce was some of the best I ever had. It does have a bit of a kick to it so don't get too reckless. The taco sizes were great and the pricing wasn't too bad. The people were friendly. “Note: This place does not have a typical storefront in which you can dine-in. What they do offer is pick-up/local delivery. As of 04/25/2018, they provide free local delivery between 10:00 AM-2:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Portions overall are very generous - the bowl is filled to the brim. I like that they have a variety of toppings and can appreciate the fact that they also offer fruit toppings (like acai dragon fruit, mango, etc) which is rather different from what I usually find at other poke joints. I've done both pick-up and have had them deliver locally - with each instance being consistent in quality and service. I encourage giving them a try and not paying too much mind to a website that looks a tad dated - I assure you that the quality they provide is superb.”

The sausage was good, however the brisket, lamb, and chicken were not as good as I'm used to. The baked beans were great and some of the best that I have tasted. “Not sure what changed recently but this place is back to being on point and when I place a delivery order it always arrives in less than 30 minutes, even during lunch hour. I always say I'm gonna venture outside my comfort zone but usually end up going with my tried & true favorites - Shrimp in Garlic Sauce, Shrimp Lo Mein, Bourbon Chicken, Shrimp Toast & for hubby Egg Rolls. The Shrimp in Garlic Sauce is marked as being spicy but trust me, it's not and I always forget to ask them to add a little more heat. The shrimp are a nice size while the ones in the lo mein are a bit smaller and the bourbon chicken lasts me for days, kinda have a feeling they're adding red food color to the dish though. They have lunch specials that run to 3:30 so if I'm planning on having this for dinner I usually order before that cut off time to save a few bucks for nearly the same amount of food”
