“Giving this 5 stars because everyone seems to hate on this place and I love the old white 9. It’s not extremely well manicured, and you’re probably going to lose some balls. In my eyes, that makes it more of a challenge vs most wide open municipal type courses. There’s nothing fancy here, it’s just you vs. a 100+ year old course. One thing people forget is that it’s priced accordingly and an excellent value. I could play these same holes over and over again (and I do). It’s my favorite place, easy to go solo and just enjoy the sport. Also great to bring friends that maybe aren’t regular golfers since it’s not pretentious at all.”

“Went here for the first time today for lunch. I had the 3-sides plate with collard greens, mac & cheese, and dressing. My husband had fried catfish, yams, and potato salad. Both came with a cornbread muffin. Everything was delicious! The owner/chef/server (he was the only one working and was doing all the jobs!) was friendly. I definitely want to go back to try more of their dishes. My only complaint is that it was very cold in the restaurant. Thus, I urge you to eat at Destiny's so that they make enough income that they can turn on their heat in January!”

“The slices are the largest, most densely topping packed slices I've encountered in California, NorCal and Socal. The slices weighs alot, like it felt like a 5 lb dumbbell. Pictured is the Macarthur Meat Lovers slice. I tried to capture how thick and big it was with the pics. Furthermore, it's delicious! The toppings are fresh, the bacon is thick (!), really good cheese, tasty sauce, thin sliced dough. $6.99/slice for their specials is a steal deal. You're a fool for going to fast food when you got this top tier, late night, very friendly, family oriented, and local gem. Like I will go out of town to get their specials and Indian pizzas. Oh and they have $6-8 hot sub sandwiches, Mariah's Cookies, and salads. Best value and a really kind family. Go here.”

“Went to the beach to watch the Sunrise with my daughters and literally a hop skip and a jump from the beach we find this cute cafe. Staff was amazing, very bubbly and lots of laughs, they have an amazing breakfast menu which includes a breakfast sandwich that compliments the Jersey Shore.
