“I had the pleasure of eating at Island Wing Company before attending a dance recital. I picked the Summer Berry Salad and it was DELICIOUS! The description of the meal is as is: “House greens topped with tender grilled chicken, fresh blueberries, sliced strawberries, candied pecans, and tangy feta cheese with a side of our Raspberry Balsamic Vinaigrette. It’s always summer here on the Island!” Best salad ever! There was also a unique feature where we would put a sign up and have the waiter come right over. All restaurants should have this to save from having to wait to waive the waiter down. Can’t wait to be back!”

“Went with my friend and her mom a couple weeks ago. Me and my friend did the all you can eat option and her mom ordered the tempura veggies (not sure of the name). The sushi dishes we got from the all you can eat menu was really good, the only one I wasn’t into was the Philadelphia roll because I felt like the cheese to fish ratio was off with the cheese being a bit overpowering. Service was pretty good. We loved the robots that bring out the food 😂😊. We went slow, only ordering one roll at a time for each of us to make sure we didn’t order more than we can handle since you have to pay a little under a dollar for each roll you have leftover at the end. We ate everything we ordered though so it was fine. Definitely recommend for sushi lovers. The yakisoba we got a different time we went was also very good. Recommend for small groups of friends, maybe not the best restaurant to bring toddlers too though if your kid is a picky eater.”

My fiance and I used to order from the one in South Hempstead often, but they've been slacking, so we decided to try this location. BAM it's a winner! We got four different burritos and each one was stuffed with deliciousness and tasted fresh. The service is also top notch and we were welcomed warmly and treated like old friends. We'll definitely be back. The only thing we think they can do better on is the size of the queso cups. They serve a puny little side portion.”

What I can say is the quality of the food in terms of selection, seasoning, freshness, and portions haven’t changed that entire time. in recent years, they added a daiquiri machine and maybe a television but for the most part in their current location you can still select ox tails, turkey,l wings, fried fish, collards, mac & cheese, black eyed peas, etc. has maintain a level of quality for a very long time. I might add that I feel people of all ethnicities and all races could come here enjoy a meal and I feel very comfortable going in and out of the restaurant and in the restaurant itself.”

The ambiance could have been better.”
