“We walked in to find a clean looking, peaceful restaurant. The menus were clean as were the tables. The booth seat was a little uncomfortable to me (back was too straight) so we opted to sit at a table. My only complaint was the floor was very sticky. Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. We ordered Thai coffee, crab wontons and vegetable rolls to start off with. The coffee was really good. Both appetizers were fresh and tasty. I didn't care for the sauce that came with them. Edible, but pretty bland. Peter and I opted to share a vegetable medley stir fry, with chicken, and my son ordered pad Thai with glass noodles. Nathan said his meal was wonderful. The medley was good, nothing special. Overall it was a nice meal and a pleasant experience. Cost was about $20/per. “Richard JH was amazing. We came over from Erie pa for a camping trip and after a long work week we decide to treat ourselves to a nice dinner outside of camp. Our server was very honest about menu options and even came over at the end of our meal to apologize for not making it back as much as he would have liked and you could tell he was genuine with what he said. “Located just outside of Short Pump in Manakin-Sabot. We tried this place on a whim. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The food is good. They have good portion sizes. They offer lunch specials daily from 11AM-2:30PM. You can order online or by phone. I only removed one star because the spring roll is fried unlike other Chinese restaurants ive been to, do this was disappointing and it was soggy. Please see photo below. It's a good time to go if you're wanting to eat out without a crowd. The chicken had great crunch and flavor. You got a good amount of chicken for the cost. I chose all dark meat and got 2 legs, 2 thighs and a back. Plan to give extra time for the fried chicken. It takes 30 mins to make. I got mashed potatoes and gravy as my potato side with the fried chicken dinner. They were smooth and the gravy was good but needed salt imo, but that would be good for those who need a low salt option. Coffee was standard diner type coffee; good, hot and fresh. The salad bar had a lot of different salad options. Potato salad, pasta salad, pea salad, cottage cheese, bacon, black olives, ham, onion, etc. Was happy to see poppy seed dressing too. My party said the catfish was amazing. Waitress said the ribeyes are what she would recommend for next time, that they're hand cut and one of her favorites as well as the fried chicken.”
