“This was my very first time eating Thai. My husband has eaten it before and he said this was 5 star food. We started with tofu and chicken satay. I've never had tofu but it completely confused my brain. It had a nice firm outside while the inside was soft. The sauce it came with was good too so that helped the taste of the tofu. The chicken satay was delicious. Their peanut sauce has a little kick but not too overwhelming. My husband ordered the egg drop soup and Bamee Raadna. He said it was hands down the best egg drop soup he's ever had. He said the Bamee Raadna was absolutely phenomenal too. He ordered his at a level 3 spicy. I ordered the param longson with chicken. The flavor profile was great but I had a hard time handling the heat of the curry. Next time I'm going to order it with as little heat as possible. We ended the meal with a khao sang khaya Thai and oh my goodness. The mango was fresh, the coconut wasn't overwhelming, the sweet rice had a great flavor and a good texture. This was a great first experience for me.”

All of the food was so good. I kept seeing reviews about people saying how expensive everything is but I disagree. I found the food to be affordable. I was able to eat like a king for slightly under $30 and that was with tip. I am a big dude too but this will keep me full all day lol. The staff was friendly and I loved seeing all the construction workers eating there and everyone was happy. I love that there was raza everywhere it's such a great sight to see. Me encanta! I highly recommend eating here because the food was very good”

“My friend and I came in at around 1:30 on a Saturday, and we were immediately seated. The service was excellent. I ordered the blackened shrimp pasta. It came with some toasted bread on the side, which was a nice addition to the dish. It was a delicious creamy pasta with a good amount of blackened shrimp. Personally, it was a bit saltier than what I would've preferred, and it was a bit of a heavy dish, but it was still good overall. My friend ordered a bacon cheeseburger without lettuce and tomato. When asked how he wanted his burger cooked, we asked for it to be medium rare, but it was more of a medium / medium well. It's fine, though. It wasn't that big of a deal to us. At the end of the day, our hunger was satisfied. Overall, it was a great atmosphere, cool fish tank, good service, and good food.”

“My family introduced me to this place as they went there for lunch. My Dad raves about the gyros (who has high standards for gyro meat) and my Mom was a fan of the spicy chicken plate. I tried the plan with them during dinner and I will now be a regular. You can tell they use fresh olive oil and even sell their olive oil in bottles. The rice was flavorful and the hummus was up there with the best hummus I had. I normally do not eat salad but it was well dressed and a great compliment to the meat and rice. The s falafel is the best falafel I have ever had in my entire life.I had to placed an extra order after destroying the appetizer. The baklava had such a unique almost cinnamon bun like taste, I loved it so much I got one to go for my significant other. Additionally, the service was phenomenal and the person who took our order was very deliberate in taking good care of the place and keeping things orderly. Lunch specials are available. Tucked into a shopping center off 68 near the High Point-Greensboro border, Kaya hits a number of hidden gem checkboxes: it's unassuming and easily overlooked, it's family-run and popular among locals, and the food is, by and large, good. That said, I would hesitate to give this place a rave. A no-frills establishment, Kaya is nevertheless quiet and clean. It offers a familiar selection of hibachi dishes, but Korean is the main draw here. A large, pictorial Korean menu greets you upon entry. For those seeking authenticity, dishes like spicy squid or braised pig trotters let you know that you are in the right place. My wife and I opted to split a seafood pancake, a bimimbap, and a spicy pork. As expected, they came with an array of banchan, and portions were plentiful. Though food quality varied, nothing was worse than average. The spicy pork was delicious. It was served hot with onions and slathered in a delectable sauce. The seafood pancake's dough-to-seafood ratio favored the former though it was still quite tasty. That said, the bimimbap was a mixed bag. I appreciated the array of vegetables included though it was fairly light on meat. It also was not served sizzling, but that was my fault for not realizing that I needed to order the dol (stone pot) version. Staff here are polite, but they will leave you alone unless you specifically request something. Chalk it up to custom rather than any kind of intentional indifference. For what Kaya charges (entrees in the teens), the plastic silverware and styrafoam cups felt like penny-pinching. The variety of Kaya's offerings and the quality of the spicy pork alone make me want to give this place another chance, but I would probably opt for takeout rather than dine-in in the future.”
