Food is always a tad more in nicer areas of town. I tried the Umami classic and I thought it was prepared well. The portions seemed ample. And the flavor was very good. “I've lived in Waterford for the past 7 years; I've ordered Marco's since before anyone really knew Marco's. The Waterford store was one of the first stores in Michigan, I still remember getting my Marco's loyalty punch card stamped when I ordered a pizza. We've ordered Marcos probably 4-5 times a month since then, always different pizzas, different crust toppers, just to try them all. In the 7 years we've been here, they have always given us exactly what we ordered, never a wrong order and to top that off, actually delivered Pizza to our boat on Elizabeth Lake. (Met us at the dock, but still delivered to the lake!). Fast forward to today, picking up a loyalty rewards pizza (basically free because of prior orders). Walked into the store and was greeted promptly, as always, but I was a few minutes early and I knew the pizza wasn't ready yet. I saw the pizza coming out of the oven, and the manager was in charge of the boxing station. He pulled the pizza out, stopped and yelled "WHO MADE THIS PIZZA?" I was personally taken back, I knew it was mine, but was it that bad?!? ... He looked around the store, until one of the employees raised their hand. He looked at her and said, this is beautiful, this is exactly how a deluxe is supposed to look and started clapping to congratulate her on how well she did, other employees also clapped. Then he invited other employees to look at the pizza. All in All, I was just waiting for my free loyalty Pizza...thought maybe because it was free, they might skimp... boy was I wrong. I have to say what a great environment and management team they have at this store, supporting their staff, and making the best pizzas. “This hotel is much more charming than the photos. Especially the rooms. Had a room with a tub and that was nice. The furniture is a nice design. There’s a great selection of teas and coffees in the room. Some major points are lost on lack of body wash, ironing board and mini fridge. Tried getting a chair for the shower and there’s only 1 for the whole hotel. Be prepared to take stairs starting with the entrance. It is not an accessible hotel. Whatever you do avoid the restaurant, food took over n hour to show up and was very mediocre and dry. Not worth €90 for 2 lunches.”

I don't understand all the negative reviews. pros. the chicken fajita quesadillas were freaking tasty. a lot of flavor. all the food had flavor. cons: the beans were very watery but tasty. the rice tasted like Spanish sticky rice but that also was very good. the salsa for the chips was a complete let down. very watered down but smelled good. taste wasn't there. I don't know why they make it like that, it looked like water with some spices in it. I would come here again but not for awhile. my wife got the menudo and she said it was full of flavor and tasted great. all I'm saying is give it a chance at least one time but their is room for improvement.”
