Nice to get mixed greens, instead of just romaine lettuce. They had a light lemon vinagrette on the salad. We really enjoyed our lunch. The food is pricey, but it was worth it. 30 for burgers and fries. The total bill was 59.00 with tax, and we would go back again. We enjoyed eating lunch at gardens for convenience and ambiance.”

“We got a coupon in the mail so I filed it in my coupon envelope cuz you never know when you'll have a KFC 🍗 emergency! Yesterday while out for an errand, I was hankering for some KFC 🐔.... pulled out my coupon and the 9 piece bucket for $15.99 got my attention. So off I went to the nearest KFC in Vista... the first place I went in said we don't have this coupon and told me to go to the KFC in Oceanside. I called before leaving the parking lot and was told they don't have that coupon in their system and the special they have currently is 8 pieces for $21. I wasn't about to give up because now I'm really curious why KFC would send out a coupon and their locations have no idea what the heck it is! I called another KFC in Oceanside, the 2007 Mission location, and the lady I spoke with told me we don't have that coupon but bring it in and we'll see what we can do. Off I went! When I got there, the young lady I showed the coupon to said let me get my manager. Flora (sp) the manager too said we don't have this coupon in our system. She asked where I got it, I told her I got it in the mail. I also told her I'm really curious why KFC would send out a coupon but none of the locations that I've been to or called have it in their system.... Long story short, she didn't turn me away! Flora told me what she was willing to do for me and did it! I appreciate the level of customer service and the way she and her staff dealt with me! I came in during dinner time and I wasn't the only one person hankering for some KFC🍗! All three staff were working hard filling orders but never did I feel rushed nor did they make me feel bad for having a mystery coupon! I was so pleased with the exchange I went back to the car to grab some moola for a tip! I got home with my bucket of guilty pleasure to go with my steamed rice and garlic broccoli 🥦 (the things we do to justifya bucket as we get older)!!! “Went there with a couple friends. Service was great and fast. The food was well plated and tasted delicious. Best part it was well priced. The ambiance was perfect for us but could have also been perfect for a date. They had a violinist playing live music. Children had their own area with a playground and even a pony. The food came out great. We had a shrimp appetizer and the breading was on point. I also got the Octopus and ribeye tacos. Great portions for the price. We paired it with mixed drinks but they also have wine. Would recommend. Honestly the best part is that's it's relatively new so it's still quite private and you don't have to wait much for food like other places. So the fast service was perfect before heading into El Valle de Guadalupe.”

“I was traveling outside of the city & saw this place claim to be the #1 cheesesteak in the world so decided to test that out. The place (which is your standard modern restaurant decor complete with brick veneer) was completely empty. It took less than 10 minutes for me to receive my order which was a regular philly cheese steak that came out to be $10 for the sandwich alone. The sandwich itself is about 7-8 inches long. It comes with quite a few toppings including full slices of pickles, tomatoes, green peppers, grilled onions, etc. There is a good amount of cheese on it as well. The cheese is melted, but they didn't give it enough time as you can still see the lines from the individual slices & it's not browned. There also seems to be some mayo on the toasted bread that's packed with meat. They definitely don't skimp on anything here. It definitely looks good, but how does it taste? You can somewhat taste that Philly profile. Overall it's a good sandwich, but definitely not good enough to be #1 in the world. I started putting together the pieces as to why it's a ghost town. If the meat were seasoned a bit better then maybe it would put it in that top tier, but for now others will reign as king.”

I ordered the taco salad with fajitas meat. They are not stingy with the fixings. The steak was tender and tasty. The veggies were fresh and nicely diced. I hate chunky veggies on my salad. It was really good. My only concern was the shell. I really enjoy eating the shell with my salad. This shell was overcooked and tasted a bit greasy. I've passed this place several times and it always seems busy. I wanted to try for myself. There was a slight smell when I walked in. Like maybe a plumbing or ventilation issue. Nothing overwhelming but definitely noticeable. The customer service cost, and ambiance will rate them a second visit.”

“First time at Club 27 and it was a great experience. The garage door was open in the bar area, with plenty of patio seating. You could sit at the inside part of the bar or outside, which is fun. Without the outdoor seating, it would have been very crowded. We were told about a 30 minute wait on a Friday evening but we’re able to get a spot at the bar earlier. Food was excellent. I highly recommend the Thai salmon. It had a sweet and tiny bit of spice glaze that was delicious. The prime rib dip was also great. We will definitely be back again post golf to try more of the cocktails and food options. Update: stopped here for the second time after golfing and enjoyed the Sunday happy hour. Pretzel bites were great with mustard and a cheese sauce for dipping. Got the Cobb salad, even though it wasn’t on special. It was good but I did have to cut the lettuce smaller. However, the Korean fried chicken sandwich was phenomenal! Definitely recommend.”
