“Cute venue tucked within a lodge, this pub threw us off a bit by only offering outdoor seating. Still, our servers accommodated our party w extra heat lamps since some of us weren’t dressed to eat entirely Al fresco. Nevertheless our party decided to tough it out and proceeded w ordering our dinner. For drinks we got a few martinis that were all prepared expertly. A little surprising given the pop up vibe the entire place gives. Then we proceeded w the grilled cactus appetizer. It was a little hard to comprehend the description even after asking our waitress, turns it comes as a 3 piece unit or like a poke bowl. We had it poke bowl style and was VERY delicious. Then our food came, which was a build-your-salad, steak plate, steak sandwich, and lobster roll. Our waitress was excellent by repeating our order to us, which was brilliant since we had ordered a rather complex salad. Everything came together, presented beautifully, cooked wonderfully. The only pause was that our steak was more medium well then medium. Not too much of a big deal since it was getting a bit darker and grilling outside gets tougher w less light. Aside from that, our meal was excellent. Def a place worth many repeat visits.”

We also got 4 sides of the garlic butter and 2 orders of fried mushrooms. This is definitely the best value around for pizza. They were extremely busy for pick up. I was 8th in line when I went in, and they got through the line fairly quickly for a Friday night. Highly recommend if your looking for a great value and good food! “Taqueria El Pelón is one of the best places in the Carrollton area to grab some quick, delicious tacos. I have been going here a few times a month since they have opened up to get my taco fix. Presentation is always 💯, customer service is always top notch, if they are busy it might take a little longer but you know that the quality is 💯. Everything I have gotten from Taqueria El Pelón has been nothing but fantastic and left me craving for more. In my opinion, the green salsa serves with their food is what gives the food ✨razzle dazzle✨, and at this point I can’t eat anything without it, however I have and the tacos are just as if not even more delicious. If you are in the Carrollton area, they are well worth the drive, and you will not regret it. This small business deserves way more than 5 stars in my opinion. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“12/8/22 update: I had bad curry at a different local place recently and it made me realize how thankful I am to have Pho Lucky. It's the best Thai food in the valley! Yes the prices have gone up but it's very high quality and good portions-- a lot of food will last 2 meals. Pho Lucky is the best and I'm so happy they are open on Sunday's again :) I've meant to write this review for months, because this is the best thai curry in the valley in my opinion. Never got around to writing a review because we only ever get takeout and I always eat the food before I remember to get a picture of it. We get takeout here just about weekly, and ended up dining inside for the first time yesterday so I finally got some good pics of the food. Their curry is SO. GOOD. The flavor, the spice level, the vegetables. Everything is perfect. It's the best curry I've ever had. Red, green, yellow, panang, and massaman. I've tried them all. Red and green are my favorites. The vegetables they use are local and so fresh. The most delicious green broccoli and snap peas and thai eggplant was in the green curry I got this time. They will sort of switch up their veggies depending on what they have on hand, but it's always amazing and so fresh. Their pad thai is very, very good too. Excellent flavor and noodles. Their spring rolls are good too and I like the tangier sauce. They come with 8 spring rolls instead of 6 like many places so good value.”
