“Situated in the historic Yorba Linda train depot, we stopped in for an afternoon treat. Polly's is well known for it pie, but offers a great menu for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. While we ordered the coconut creme and banana creme pies for ourselves, at the advice of our server, we tried the boysenberry pie Ala mode warmed up and WOW! We enjoyed that together and it was a race to the last bite. My wife, being an only child, is not good at sharing, more on that in another review, but each bite was better than the last. So the boysenberry is excellent, the coconut creme pie is subtle, finishing with a smooth coconut taste and the banana creme is as expected with all of the pies having a soft, flaky, buttery crust that had you eating g the edges because it was just that good. If you find yourself in the area, this is a must do.”

The person who waited on us was very courteous and was prompt in taking our orders. This place is much better than an all you can eat buffet! Had a lovely time at Singing Waters, we enjoyed the wine tasting, which included 5 glasses, at their indoor, air-conditioned tasting room, before moving to their outdoor, open-air pavilion, creek side, to listen to live music. They have a bistro that serves a variety of items, we opted for some Pinot Grigio, a charcuterie board and flat-bread pizza, all of which was excellent. Will certainly repeat!”

“I came across Delta 109 by accident by driving country roads learning to drive stick shift. We are so happy we stopped because the food was absolutely delicious. Their food portions are extremely huge!! I ate a good portion of my philly in house, took the other half home for a late snack and still was able to reheat the rest of the meat with some eggs for breakfast the following day. We had arrived right before 5 pm for an early dinner and by the time we left every table was seated on a Friday night. Busy is good and great for business!”

“We were in Arvada for a birthday party that ran late and were looking for a good place to stop for dinner at 8pm. Lot One had a great looking menu so we decided to stop in. It’s a smaller restaurant in a quiet shopping center in the Five Forks neighborhood with a laid back vibe. The patio was beautiful and it was a cool night, so we dined outside. Service was pretty slow, but we did show up an hour before close. Everyone seemed busy trying to close up for the night. We didn’t have a check back on our meals until we were pretty much through. Thankfully, the food was good. We didn’t order anything too adventurous seeing as it was so late in the evening. The romaine had a good char on it for the Caesar salad and the chicken was nicely seasoned. Prices on kids meals were a bit steep considering what was served. The fresh side options were great. The presentation in the baking tins was cute. Overall, we would return when in the area.”
