“It's a nice camping resort, with a pool, lake, beach, even a dog beach! Their bathrooms and showers were clean and maintained. We went there with kids tent camping for a few nights, and enjoyed it! Edit: I apologize, fat fingers on a phone screen. I have no complaints, we really enjoyed our stay.”

“Commons Wood is a very popular site 12 months of the year, even in the snow! Always clean and tidy with helpful wardens. I personally use Commons Wood for storing my caravan, but if you need somewhere to stay to visit London or south Hertfordshire then it's perfect. Great road links and direct rail into Kings Cross. Hatfield House and Knebworth House just 5 minutes and 15 minutes respectively. Worth a visit..”

“Excellent place to stay near London We recently stayed at Lee Valley Caravan Park in Hoddesdon. The ladies on reception were very friendly and helpful, the site is lovely, spacious. Showers are very warm, with heaters making sure that the building was warm too, as were the toilets which were very clean. There is a short wooded dog walk on site and a huge area of grassland across the main road. On site launderette also available - £3 per wash is reasonable for the convenience. Hard standings for caravans with space for awnings. We were also allowed to put up a garden for our dogs. Can't recommend the site enough. If we go down south again, I shall use the same place.”

“My husband, daughter, and I currently reside there. In the beginning, they were a bit nit picky about the dumbest things, but we turned a run down home into something of beauty, that's for sure! In the beginning when we went looking at fixer upper homes, the staff was anything but pleasant. The property manager showed absolutely NO enthusiasm when showing us homes and made it seem like we were bothering her. I try to avoid the office as much as possible. I can say that the last 2 times I've had to contact them for something they were not rude at all so maybe they are starting to realize that being rude isn't going to get you anywhere (hopefully). I have to say I am SO GLAD they threw out some of the "TRASH" residing in the community. They have placed a beautiful new double wide at the corner of our street & there are also a few other brand new homes in the area that are really nice. The lot rent does go up every year, maybe $10 per year. Compared to a 2 bedroom apartment paying almost $1100/month, the $743 we pay really isn't bad at all. Where we live is very quiet. I feel as though we made a good choice moving here. I really like it. As long as you pay your rent on time and follow the rules, you won't have any trouble. Maybe the occasional attitude from someone who doesn't feel like working that day at the office, but other than that it's really not that bad. :)”
