I understand that the property had been purchased and there are plans for expansion and to upgrade the property. I would definitely stay there again.”

“A very nice RV park, with friendly folks. It's pretty quiet besides the noise of Highway 281. We used to have little get togethers on the regular. Set on the bench next to the cabin with a BBQ some beers, & dice. Eventually the neighbors would start showing up. Sometimes we would have to grab another bench because of all the neighbors coming by. I recall one time we had 3 benches together. We became friends with most of these fine folks. It really was a highlight for me when I came to Texas. I look back at these times wistfully, with great reverence. But I do hear that manager they have there. Has very little compassion or empathy for people helping their loved ones in a time of need.”

“I stayed here for almost 2 weeks with my boyfriend. I found the park to have everything I needed and more. The pool & showers are nice and well-taken care of, and they include a laundry room which some parks don't have. The spot was a little tight, but it's in the middle of metropolitan Fort Lauderdale so that's to be expected. My boyfriend and I ride electric scooters and we found the roads to be really nice and well-paved - perfect riding roads. Nancy at the front desk was nice and accommodating as well, even when it was time for us to leave. Another plus side, its also not a far drive from downtown either! One thing I did not like would be that we weren't allowed to stay longer than 2 weeks. The front desk had stated it was policy, but from looking around and from reading reviews I see that there are people that stay longer so I felt a little offended by that however I didn't find out this information until after I left the park. But overall, good stay & would recommend.”

“From my perspective this is a great place to live, there is a great community, it is a safe space, and it's great for family's. I lived here for about 6 years from when I was about 6 years old to when I was 12. It was easy for my parents to let me go outside and play with my friends without them having to worry about the dangers of living in a neighborhood accessible to strangers. I made a lot of friends and great memories here and i recommend you take your time to really check this place out, it's worth it.”

“Lafayette RV park has not done anything wrong or broken any laws in regards to Mr. Tripp's lies in his review. The space was rented Friday right before closing at 6 pm. His application was not received until Monday morning long after the space was rented. “Right after she got off the phone with me she called another person, and gave the spot to them. “ That is a flat out lie. Someone that was approved earlier in the week that had previously declined the space called right before closing at 6 pm and stated they changed their mind. Mr. Tripp had not yet submitted his application at that time. “as long as my application was approved I would have a place to live. “ Also a lie. He was never promised anything. What he was actually told & misinterpreted was that there was a space available at the time I spoke to him. Period. Said space was never promised to him. All spaces are 1st come 1st served. No exceptions. Application fees are never refundable. That is standard industry wide. That fee gets paid directly to the screening company and the property has no control over it. Yes, I hung up on him when he started yelling at me. I refuse to stay on the phone with an unreasonable person yelling at me.”

Full hook up and cable available. Staff met us, even though we arrived later in the day, to escort us to our space. Nice touch. The view was spectacular!”
