“I absolutely love this place!! I've never stayed at an rv park before now, and won't accept anything less than this fer sure now! The property is well kept, water pressure is superb, plenty of yard space for kids to play, and more yard to walk the dogs. Let's move on the their "Common Room", they have 4 washers and 4 dryers. And not no little itty bitty washers and n dryers, but some big very good working ones!!! I can't say for the women's, but the men's restroom is Big, clean, 2 sit down stalls, 2 stand up stalls, and 3 or 4 showers!! When you shut the shower door you have a little changing room, before entering the shower. Really nice!!! And really HOOOT water!!! I love it!!! They have a patio area if ya wanna hang out, and a microwave also in the common room area. It is all locked by keypad, so you don't have to worry about random people in there. The sunsets are beautiful, and when the clouds are gone you can see a bunch of beautiful stars!!! Did I say I love this place!?!?!? Lol, but really! If you're coming into town for a couple days, or a couple months, call these folks today!!! Also sometimes see some deer come thru the back corner.”

“I moved here about 5 months ago and I like it so far. Yes my car did get broken into once, but i left it unlocked and it seems to be a thing happening all around Bear area, not just this park. I find it quiet and most of the people friendly and no issues at all with management ( but not sure if newer then previous reviews) Another review also claims there are no rules, but when I applied to live here there were several that were made clear and I understood, and I was told about the previous state of the people living here and now vacated. The only issue I have is with SOME of the kids, they do not seem very friendly and seem to have a click happening which makes it tough for mine to make new friends. There are parts of the park that could use some work, you can tell who has owner pride and who doesn't easily, Maybe a park cooperative would be a good idea, but I'm new and I can't possibly be the only one to think of this.”

“Timber lane is absolutely perfectly wonderful. It's Beautiful here tucked back in nature. Wonderful heated! pool area. Having a clean laundry room right off the pool is excellent! you can swim while you do laundry. Lisa (owner) and her parents Steve & Deb went above and beyond my expectations. They knew I was a RV newbie and they helped set me up too perfection! made sure I had what I needed and was set up properly. They gave me excellence advice and tips. Lisa has a whole list of local restaurants, retail shops etc. Could recommend good Rv technicians even local dentists. I asked about a chiropractor, she had one. I feel very safe here and It already feels like home. Oh and I can't forget about my Awesome neighbors. Love and Gratitude”

“My fiance and I have never ever taken a vacation just us. It has always been family vacations that were always so hectic with 10+ people. When we started planning this vacation, we looked at a lot of different options, called around, weren't having any luck. Then, Corner Star popped up. I contacted Christine and she was so informative and helpful. She gave us multiple recommendations for dining, bars, tubing, parks, and so much more. She was patient when I asked a bunch of questions and showed us the utmost kindness. The RV slot we got was shaded, which was awesome since we have a bulldog who gets super hot quickly. The whole park was clean, upkeep was great, and everything was in working order. The spot was easy to get into as well. Everything is close to this spot, the scenery is beautiful, and it was so peaceful our whole trip. It rained and never got muddy or gave us a hard time. Needless to say, we will definitely be staying here again and have recommended this place to any family who may want to take a trip to New Braunfels/Canyon Lake. Christine, you are awesome! Thank you so much for having us. For whoever is reading this, definitely look to Corner Star Cabin and RV Park! I could not recommend this place more.”

“Real quiet for the daytime, a lot of feral cats running all around that will get in your car if u leave windows down. Needs to be cleaned up. One trailer burnt in half that's been sitting there several months. It's a safety hazard. Alot of empty trailers. Not sure why.”

“I decided against the couple of mobile homes I looked at, at this park. They were very nice but just a little small for my needs. I do have to say, this is a nice park, though. I have viewed homes in other parks and they were straight out slums. I have visited about 5 other parks.. This park is so different than the others. I really hope a home becomes available that has a larger amount of space.”

“Just wanna post an actual legit review in addition to all the Karen’s and Kevins giving bad reviews.. This place is nice. It’s not your River Oaks campsite, but Marc is nothing but hospitable and welcoming. We tent camped right next to the river access, zero issues. We had our family of 5, + 2 dogs and the rate was more than reasonable unlike other spots. Yes there are permanent tenants there, but they were just as nice and welcoming to us temps. The site had many water and electric hookups for our tents, and the restrooms were just a few steps away. Perfect location between the river and the lake. We will absolutely be back!!”

“Great little park. Has its draw backs. Quiet 90% of the time. Really noisy on any Holiday...fireworks galore! :( Pet friendly( no fences or tying out your dogs)...leash law..animal control will pick up unleashed dogs. Playyard/ Park maintained...great for younger kids. Big field that older kids play soccer ⚽️ in.”

“Very nice park. They are constantly upgrading the infrastructure and the appearance of the park. I've talked to some of the administration and they are friendly and professional. I have recommended it to others. I feel compelled to provide an update to my previous posting so as to not mislead anybody. It appears that in the last month or so, the appearance of the park has gone down hill. I see broken down vehicles in a number of places. One looks as though it caught fire right where it is. Another area has two or three vehicles broken down, expired tags, and flat tires. On the other side of the park there is a crunched up vehicle sitting behind a mo old home. Back to the other side is a large pile of debris in an pty space and back toward the front is a large oil stain on the asphalt. Now I see truck tool boxes on wooden spools, old sofas on the patios, and discarded furniture in front of some of the trailers. For the last eighteen months prior to this, this park took pride in the appearance. This does not seem to be the case now. I do so apologize if I mislead anybody before. Thank you.”
