“Great school then, Great school Now! I love the curriculum, the campus, the parent/teacher/Student involvement. Haven't met all the teachers but I know that the ones I have are fantastic and seem to genuinely love what they do... helping our kids excel and find the greatness within. Pushing these kiddos towards independence and responsibility. Love the ethnic diversity. My kid went to west before The high school(as did I) The support was great there, IB school on the rise!!! This school may not be for everyone, and I've read the previous reviews and I'm thinking that maybe those comments were left due to 1 bad experience during a school year. My review is based on the experience of knowing the difference between Hopkins schools vs. the others... Hopkins isn't so bad(it's actually really great) "Go Royals" and thanks to all the amazing students who paved the way and all the awesome teachers and school officials who lost their minds, probably some hair and went grey trying to get you there! My son that attends now has an amazing daily experience with his friends and also all of the teachers. I’m always impressed with the new things he is learning. He is well taken care of at the center, and enjoys going to school. I would highly recommend the center for your childcare needs.”

“I've had 5 children go thru this school, and have gone thru 3 principles etc. I regularly go up to the school to check on my children, eat lunch with them etc. I have never seen a teacher get out of line. I have seen them get an unruly child together when they are not paying attention. I know bc I have one and believe me it's our job(my husband and mine) to chastise that child when he is misbehaving. What I can't stand is when parents go to the school and fuss out the teacher/staff showing lack of dignity and respect and why? Because they're not doing their job (training your child to behave inside and outside the home) I applaud the staff at Booker T, y'all should get to know them.”
