“I remember going to this very school and loving it to death! I moved schools in third grade and was tough leaving behind all the memories. I am now in 6th grade and still remember my favorite teacher (Mss.Engel)”

“My daughter and I just received our SCUBA open water certification with Jeff (Steiner SCUBA). He was a great teacher and his love for SCUBA and teaching was evident from the first contact for information. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for instruction at any level. He was very flexible on schedules. He was very patient and we felt very comfortable with diving right away (with no experience before). His classroom and pool instruction was excellent, any questions were welcome. Jeff took over this business recently (so please keep this in mind with some of the older reviews). If you are looking for anything SCUBA related you really need to contact them, you will be glad that you did.”

“I could not be more impressed with the education and culture provided at Roots, not to mention the fabulous downtown Plymouth location! True to “the Montessori Way”, students are encouraged to grow and learn in multi-age classrooms with impressive hands-on materials. One-on-one, small group, and spiritual lessons are the norm. Roots is growing and I truly believe it is an asset to our community!”

“I had a tennis lesson with Michael Boatman. He was very professional and helpful. I am here annually on vacation and found him to be friendly and knowledgeable and thus I wound up having a second session and hope to continue with Michael on my return next year. I would recommend him”

“Nice school so far! My daughter seems to like it here, also she is on the varsity cheer team as a sophomore, so the school is doing something right.”

“This is by far, the best elementary school in Citrus Heights. The staff goes above and beyond to help students achieve goals and the after school bridges program is the best. Also, while other schools parking lots are overflowing into the street before and after school, somehow Grand Oaks' is almost completely empty. Some days there were so few cars in the parking lot, I thought there was no school. 😀”

“My experience of this school is that its nice the teachers are not and if anyone thinks that they are its probably because there tryna tell you to work and pay attention and not listening like if you maybe pay attention more often then the tachers wont be so hard on you cause there tryna teach you so that you wont be a dumb kid. But anyways like I said this school is nice they got bigger classes the hall ways are a little bigger we get education and free college. So for the people who dont like this school just know that paying for college isnt easy bt getting it for free is and yall probably just be wasnt paying any attention to the teachers which at the point just made them have to go a little harder on you guys so dont be coming at this for anyone who dont like it including the parents. Thanks”

“Ignore the below reviews from people who simply saw the story of the "racist" teacher on the news. Those people have never even been to this school, and surely didn't witness the protests over the story being taken out of context that occured the next day. This is the real review from a student of this school. The building is very nice, though most of it is currently closed off for remodeling. The recently added College and Career center (glass addition on the north side) is an excellent facility. The newer north part of the school is updated and modern. However, the south hall is older and outdated, but still serves its purpose. The course catalog is expansive. This school offers more advanced and extracurricular classes than any other school I've seen in this area. The teachers are great and do their job well, despite being severely underpaid. The principal, Dr. Liesenfeld, is an excellent man who listens to requests from his students and staff. My only complaints about this school are the students themselves, and the size of the school population. It is harder to get one-on-one learning in a school with a student population of over 2,000, but the teachers do their best to help their students whenever possible. Overall, it's a great school. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great education, and isn't daunted by large groups of people.”

“This was an amazing experience! We came with 4 little kids and Fred was very patient with us! Clean boat, delicious hamburgers, experienced captain! Trained and friendly dog was a great addition, my kids enjoyed his company even more than everything else. I would highly recommend you to get an amazing experience with Fred. If you ever come back to Sarasota we will definitely call Fred again.”

“We loved our experience here. We wish we didn’t have to move and leave this daycare. Everyone there was awesome and we’ve yet to find a daycare that compares in terms of the nurturing environment and attentive staff. All of the outdoor time and sensory play was awesome for our child.”
