The food is just like any other school. It's school food. It's not gonna be amazing. At least it's edible. The students at this school are amazing and kind. For a middle school, I think this school is above average.”

“My Martin 000CXE acoustic needed some attention recently, so I drove from Richmond to take to Mike Larkin. I’ve had the guitar for about 11 years and it’s been with me to 15 or so countries. I previously lived in Nashville and have had some pretty great luthiers work in the past. I play the guitar a lot and it needed some work. Mike gave it a new custom nut, a fret job, setup, and general maintenance for a very affordable price! The guitar not only plays as good or better than it ever has, it also actually sounds better! Good instruments are worth investing in and Mike is someone who can restore the former glory of your guitar, or perhaps even make it sound better than ever. “Megan is the absolute best of the best! She had my 22 month old floating in 1 week, and swimming by the end of week 4! We spend tons of time around water, and my daughter has 0 fear. I was extremely nervous and hesitant about ISR, but Megan made me feel so comfortable and explained everything every step of the way. My daughter is also pretty difficult in new environments and with new people, and Megan was so patient with her! I’m SO glad we decided to do ISR, and even more glad we found Megan! My child is involved in so many clubs and organizations and has had the opportunity to make friends with many people. Just take a look in the year book to see what a diverse school this is, and NO you don't have to be wealthy to be involved in clubs and make friends.”

“This school is fairly new and have a clean campus. This is a "fundamental school" yet public, meaning, you have to apply far in advance to be accepted. The learning pace is high. My 6 year old first grader is predicted to read on a third grade level at the end of the school year. He have to read three books a week and get tested on them. Now in May he is reading books that are 125 pages long. I believe it take more parent involvement to succeed here since there is a lot of homework. I don't know how good they are with kids that need more assistance, but I hope they are good for them too.”

“The staff at this school are a redeeming factor for this small town school. But lack of funding really can impact the school poorly. The improvements of the brand new football field really help give the school a better image. Plus lots of the students can be some of the nicest and smartest in Lincoln county. But being a small town school, it lacks the funding it needs to give it's students the full potential they can achieve”
