“Plato academy across the board is a fantastic school with great progams. After a waiting list of two years, my three children started at Tarpon Plato in 2012 and now go to Palm Harbor. They all work hard to get the best grades, something I feel the school has instilled in them and we continue at home. Homework is everyday so prepare to see alot of it. It's the academic structure that keeps them on task to upcoming homework, projects and tests. Socially children are super respectful to each other and teachers as I've noticed over the 6 years. I highly recommend!”

“I am part of the Watch Dog program at this school. I find all the teachers to be extremely kind and caring. The administrators make sure the school is up and running in a safe and caring way. Anytime I have needed to interact with the Princible or Secretary they make time to listen and help with any issues. The staff is very diversified in their backrounds. Problem students are given sound guidance and if followed up in the home will turn out to be wonderful citizens. I hate common core math, but they must teach it according to state guidlines. There is no prejudice agendia of any form at this school. Glad I get to view this facility from a non-threatened volunteer position.”

The Administration and Teachers really reach out and communicate with parents. My child absolutely loves this school. No fights, no issues what so ever. They offer so much for my child academically. The Drama program which is a class not a club is absolutely amazing- out of this world! I love the dynamics of this school. I am happy that my child goes here. “Why is everyone mentioning lighting trash bins on fire, smoking marijuana, and sugar-coating of the magnet gifted program? I attended this school myself and it is up to an individual student to find who they associate themselves with. Yes, there are troublemakers (as there would be in any other school) but generally this intermediate school was great. They have many great teachers and opportunities if you look for them, and the magnet program is really great. Students have to learn to take the right actions and avoid those who want to make the school look bad, thats all.”
