Our horse, Duke, semi famous, in movies and TV shows and was very smart. He had lots of personality. Carriage can use some updating. Fresh paint. New hardware, and upholstery.”

“Great for young kids. Boys are 4 and 7, easy to park with short walk to towers. Lots picnic tables and bathrooms. Splash pad is really nice with a pool next to it. 3 ft to 4 1/2 feet deep I believe. You have to pay $2 for adults and $1 for kids. Also we went on forth July, came at 11 but pool didn't open until 12. Says on website it's 11 foe holidays - not sure which holiday they mean.”

“This was conveniently located but still quiet and removed from the bustle of city life. If you simply look out the front windows of the house, you'll typically spot horses, deer, and other peaceful animals. We were glad to have 2 full bathrooms as well as numerous sleeping options. I stayed in the house with good friends and our two sons had a blast sleeping in the lower level bedroom where they could share sleeping space but each had their own bed. One of the few things I would change is to add a little more lighting - we'd brought some crafty projects and it was a little hard for our aging eyes to see in the low light of the main living space. Overall, highly recommend. Also, while your in the area, check out the Coffee Emporium nearby - a local coffee house and lunch spot - it was cute with excellent quality coffee and tea drinks.”

“What an AWESOME experience! Definitely one of our favorite memories from our trip to New Orleans! We saw lots of egrets, turtles, and best of all lots of gators!! It was amazing! Xander was an excellent, fun, and friendly tour guide and really knew his stuff. It was also neat to see the houses of the people who live off of the swamp and to hear a little about their lifestyle and culture. My kids absolutely loved it when the boat got up to high speeds! They had a blast!! I will say, I think the tour could have been just fine perhaps 15–30 minutes shorter, as my little kids' attention spans and hungry tummies started making them a little restless after about an hour and a half of the tour, but for older participants, I'm sure that's not as much of a problem. I would recommend bringing a jacket in case it gets a little chilly. Overall, an incredible and memorable experience with no regrets! Don't pass this one up!”
