“As described, quiet and secluded, place is dog friendly which is why we picked it. FYI there is a steep hill leading to the cabin so have to be careful when backing out when leaving. There are a couple of outdoor lights but if you have a dog and take them out at night I suggest bringing a good flashlight with as you are in the woods and once the sun goes down it is super dark. Place does provide: cooking utensils, silverware, cuttery, plates, bowls, glass, cups, stove, microwave, toaster, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, extra blankets, card table and 6 chairs, ironing board and iron, DVD player and dvds. It has 2 bedrooms on the main floor and another bed up stairs loft. I would return again. The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars is when we were staying you can hear an animal I’m thinking a squirrel scratching in the walls and in the ceiling as well as screeching and running around. You hear it in the morning and then as evening approached so had a hard time sleeping. Not sure if others had same problem. Did fill out a questionnaire and wrote about it so they could be aware.”

“Book travel prior to the pandemic for Aug, plans kept changing quite often ,due to the pandemic, so we had to make quite a few changes, Luiz was very responsive , contacted us as soon as he knew about changes and whether or not something on our trip was available, hotels were very fluid at the time , restrictions kept being added then taken away. he had to manage our expectations, and was able to find something comparable We had a wonderful vacation with the grand kids,”

“Alyssa is awesome, sure us so good with my kiddo! We have added another horseback riding lessons and the instructor had a temper which took the fun out of it. Alyssa is so patient and willing to work with the kids. She just threw a little Christmas party for them on her own time as well as bought them.gifts. she definitely has a hard to invest in this younger generation I love how she just doesn't teach him horses but even teaches them to groom and cream horses. You won't regret Alyssa teaching your kids.”

“Nagel Explorer Base is one of the great gems at Beaumont Scout Reservation. It is at the far south end of the reservation. Our scout troop has camped here several times in the winter. The scouts did great in the 3 wall “Adirondack” type shelters while the most of the adults stayed in the cabin. The cabin has a huge fireplace and nice kitchen, too. We have also enjoyed the fall hayrides at Nagel as well as the horseback rides. Note: Beaumont is private property for use only by Scouting programs.”

The lamb has not been “gamey” as sometimes people describe the flavor of lamb. The beef has additionally been great and does not have that overly powerful omega 3 flavor that you sometimes can experience.”

“We stayed at the Harrison Spring Cabin. This is such a beautiful location! You are sitting right on the river. We were so lucky, our first night it stormed and the water was rushing by the porch and it was just amazing. The owner is extremely nice and easy to talk to. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because the water out of the tap smelled pretty bad. All of us didn't shower the whole 3 days, we pretty much treated it like camping. They did provide a cooler filled with fresh water though for drinking and it lasted us the whole time. Overall, I will definetly rent this cabin again in the future.”

I was a little worried about bringing my 4 year old along, but she LOVED it! We were lucky to see not one, but 5-6 manatees. Whole experience was seamless and smooth from booking all the way to the shuttle back to our vehicle at the end! We will definitely do this again when we return to Florida in the future.”

“My partner and I finally took a vacation and were able to cross into Canada, on short notice we contacted Niagara Cycling Tours as we were looking for a long, full day bike tour with a Guide. We were staying on the USA side of Niagara Falls and easily crossed over with the arrive Can App. Peter and his team were excellent hosts and they created a big, 50 mile loop for us including so many stops and sights to see. Highlights included Niagara on the Lake and the history here, the Welland Canal and getting up close to the massive tankers, and incredible historical facts of Niagara Falls and the daredevils who went over on barrels. We both agreed to come back next year with some friends for 2 or 3 days holiday, on our bikes of course. We would suggest to anyone interested to hire Niagara Cycling Tours yourself.”

“I've done several tours with Mark of New York Walking Tours. The last was to a section of Manhattan's Lower East Side, an area I had never been to and didn't even know it existed. We started out with great (and inexpensive) Dim Sum in a real, non-commercial Chinese area. We had a pleasant walk to the east through a surprisingly quiet and peaceful area of lower Manhattan. We got a tour of the historic Eldrige St. Synagogue, built in the 19th century and fairly recently restored. Walked on to the area of the Henry Street Settlement. Mark was knowledgeable about the history of both locations. He is a friendly, down to earth person with lots of knowledge about NYC. Mark is particularly well-versed in the architectural history of New York. Hoping to take his Upper Harlem tour at some point.”

“Red Top Mountain State Park is beautiful. The cabins are nice. My family from out of town stayed in the cabins. If it wasn't for having to shuttle family back in forth down to the additional parking at the visitor center I would have given 5 stars. Only 2 cars are allowed to park up at the cabins. The options on buying state passes is a daily or yearly. It would be nice if you could purchase a 2/3 day pass when visiting someone at the cabins. Instead of having to stop daily to get one. Other than that it was a great stay for my family!”

“We have stayed at this condo several times and it's always so inviting and refreshing. The beach, golf, restaurants and shopping are within minutes of the unit. It is quiet and the furnishings are bright and beachy. The kitchen is well appointed - if you decide to cook! The enclosed back porch is a great place to relax, read a book, or watch the golfers try their luck on the 2nd hole of the East course of Sawgrass Country Club. The owner has thought of everything - bikes and beach chairs are even available. Julianna (the owner) is wonderful to deal with and is prompt in relying to my emails.”

“The Oak Leaf Retreat is the most amazing retreat ever! We spent the day at the retreat for our family reunion and it was perfect. All of the children and adults enjoyed zip lining, swimming, splashing in the lazy river, tubing, and the pavilion was perfect to sit, eat, and talk as we enjoyed the retreat. We utilized the house to take breaks from the Texas heat, but at this retreat they provided so much and thought of ever detail, even life vest for children. Our entire family was please and the children didn't want to leave. We will definitely return here in the future for our next family reunion and highly recommend this location for others.”
