She recommended a Scottish Highlands tour that was fantastic, gave us lists of places to see and things to do in Edinburgh, and what to watch out for. In addition, she helped us decide on a couple of easy day trips by train. And it all started because my wife saw an ad in the Wisconsin State Journal for a "Girls Getaway" trip to Edinburgh and thought, if Middleton Travel can do that for a group, why not for a couple?”

“We informed Captain James that we would like to catch some big fish that were picture worthy and catch a few to eat. We started out trolling a wreck and caught two nice Baracuda that we used for bait to catch two sharks and three massive Goliath grouper. After that we move a mile and caught 15-20 grey snapper to bring home and eat. My 13 y/o so e is elated and I am Dad of the Year. We did all this on a 6 hours trip. We will be back.”

“We went for the polar express event. It was okay. Kind of expensive for a 2 hour train ride in the dark with about 20 minutes of looking at some Christmas props/lights/volunteers dressed as elves at the "north pole". The only tickets left at the time were the more expensive ones, so we did get a mug along with the bell everyone else gets. The cookie was quite good, but then they give you a pretty small cup of hot chocolate that is only half full, so that was kind of lame. So that's an adult's opinion, but as a kid, I guess they seemed to like it. It probably would've been a bit boring if we only took our one kid, but thankfully we went with a good number of cousins, so they entertained themselves as we traveled through the dark areas. I doubt we'll do it again, but it was okay as a one time deal. And the parking does fill up pretty quick. We got there an hour before departure time and the lot was pretty empty. But about a half hour later it was filling up quickly.”
