“K&A Charters delivered on their promise to take my sisters and I fishing with success in Miami waters. The fishing was excellent and the captain and Charlie was amazing! We caught 1 king fish, 3 Mahi Mahi, and two black fin tuna all in 3 hours! Their communication was fantastic, the boat was clean, and crew was very helpful and guided us without making us feel we were rookies! I would fish with them anytime again, thank you!”

“My girlfriend and I recently decided to try out casual camping and hiking. We came here and Andrew and Regan were incredibly helpful! Regan helped us find the right size backpack that works for us, and Andrew told us about tents, sleeping bags, and sleeping mats. My girlfriend and I quickly realized that many of the products here are out of our budget, but Regan and Andrew still helped us out and gave us lots of advice. Andrew was especially helpful, and he showed me websites for local trails and camping recipes, and he told me about his own experiences camping and hiking to help me understand what to expect. I did end up buying the book 50 Hikes in Louisiana, per Andrew’s recommendation. We will be going with cheaper options for gear for the time being, but if we stick with hiking and camping we will definitely come back to The Backpacker to purchase better quality gear. My experience here was very pleasant and the employees really want to help customers find the right stuff for their purposes. The employees are experienced and know what they’re talking about, and they’re super nice and helpful and fun to talk to. I left the store feeling motivated and excited for camping!”

“My company rented a bus from Central Texas Party Bus last week for a team outing. Rhonda was such a pleasant person to deal with - she was extremely helpful, very nice, and was quick to respond to text messages and emails. The original bus that we reserved was out of commission, so Rhonda upgraded us to the other bus for the same price. The bus itself was very clean and fit 15 of us very comfortably. Kris was our driver and I have to say, she was the BEST! Not only was she nice, but she was very patient and even went above and beyond to keep us on track with our scheduled route! My entire team was very happy with the experience and is still talking about how cool the bus was! We will definitely book with them again. An insurance declined a claim and JPR handled an appraisal process in relatively short period and got funds. JPR Installed a new roof with an additional improvements a month before insurance money arrived, as well gutters and fence stain. “I am shocked at the negative review of this barn. I started riding here with my 10 year old daughter just over a year ago. We started lessons because my daughter needed something to build her confidence and she was afraid of large horses. The instructors were kind and patient. The two we use either have degrees or are getting degrees in horse care. They have worked with my daughter on not only riding but ground care, tacking, grooming, feeding and more. She has gone from being terrified to getting the horse out of his stall, tacking him (with help from the instructor), mounting and riding. She can post and is working ground poles and cross-rails. The barn has a large number of horses, some of which are rescue. The rescue horses sometimes have health issues but they are not used in the program until they are checked and cleared. There is always a list on the board of which horses are being used and which need rest. In a large barn, you are always going to have horses on rest they are not overused. Most days there are only lessons in the evenings from 4-7 and the lessons usually only have 1-4 students and some are owners. The barn has a full time stable person who feeds and cleans the stalls. The horses do have bedding and the barn is always open for anyone to walk around and visit. The barn has one large arena, one medium square pen and two round pens. This is not a show barn where you show up, get on a horse, ride and leave. This is a very hands on barn where the students are taught about grooming, tacking, identifying parts of the horse and more. I have taken the jumping class and I learned a lot. The level of instruction does depend on the level of the student. When my daughter started the focus was just holding the reins correctly and good seat position. Now she knows about posting, collecting and leg reining. I would never ride at a barn where there horses were abused or mistreated. The horses get wormed, supplements, shoes and toys. I encourage you to visit to walk around the barn. They also have a vet on call and who visits regularly. Very caring owner and instructors. ”

“Erin is the absolute best! I am from NYC and don’t know how I would have planned a wedding in Italy without her. We were not able to go over ahead of time to check everything out, so we trusted Erin and she helped find excellent vendors for us and helped make sure everything was taken care of ahead of time. We are so glad we trusted her, because everything was beautiful and turned out even better than we had imagined. She was so organized, kept everything on track during the planning stages, and spent hours talking over details with us over the phone. The weekend of the wedding itself she was there for every second and was absolutely indispensable in making sure everything went smoothly and way exceeded my expectations. She handled every detail and I felt completely relaxed and confident that everything was under control with her there. She also went above and beyond to make sure so many last minute personal details that I wasn’t able to complete myself got done (for example I realized the morning of the wedding that I had forgotten to get batteries for my camera so she ran to town and got them for me). And she is so lovely and an absolute joy to work with. Of all the decisions I made regarding my wedding, hiring Erin was by far the best one. I cannot say enough good things about her and feel indebted to her for everything she did to make sure I had an amazing wedding! Do yourself a favor and hire her. She will not disappoint you.”
