“Where to begin! The ladies at Wachapreague Inn were very helpful in connecting us with Day Trippers to enjoy a day trip (no pun intended) to one of the islands. It started to rain the morning of our trip. Our captin, Clay, showed up on time and gave us the option to wait the storm out or go ahead with our trip, but suggested we wait for safety reasons. Once the rain subsided, we departed. Clay was very helpful in loading/unloading our gear as well as pointing out local sights and giving us facts about the islands. We would definitely book with Day Trippers again and recommend them! As a side note, the island we visited was Parramore. We HIGHLY suggest to drench yourself in bug spray. Despite the bugs, we very much enjoyed our stay. We had the entire island to ourselves. We also found a sand dollar and dozens of conch shells!”

The owner, trainers and riders all share the same positive values and together with their knowledge and love for the sport have taught my daughter so much in the 9 months that we have been there. It is clean and well cared for. No matter what level you are at as a rider, I promise you will not be disappointed. The barn is quiet, calm and beautiful. Lana loves and respects what she does and it shows. The horses and people at Durkee Hill are all so happy!”

“This was a great little family campground. The tent spaces were on the small side. You are up close and personal with your neighbor. We stayed during the week so we did not have any neighbors. The campground is in the middle of farm land which is so peaceful. There were a lot of activities for the kids. We were there to have a place to stay while going to Cedar Point. This was perfect for that. The bathhouse is well maintained. There were workers attending to new renovations as we stayed. It is great seeing owners keeping the facilities well maintained and improving them.”

“Immaculate is an understatement. Great location minutes from the lake and right in between Indian Lake and Long Lake which are the two main towns with restraunts and shopping to pick up anything you might need. Lenny and Boca the owners are gracious and warm...always a friendly wave or helpful tip. Blue Mountain Rest is cute as a button and well maintained. There a lovely path you can walk down behind the property to take your pup. Dog friendly and there is a great dinner 50 feet across the street. After three weeks I feel refreshed and recharged ready to pick up where I left off back at home.”

“Love the farm and the coach/trainer Kelly wells. She is amazing with kids of all ages. Polo instructor who inspired my daughter to love the sport. Her horses ate very well behaved and great with kids. Farm is clean and all the animals ( just cats and dogs ) are beyond friendly. Can not recommend this place more for fun or competitive equestrian polo or riding lessons. She also has polo team. Photogropher on site and super fun tournaments and summer pony camps. Highly recommend”

“Zoar outdoor is a nice place for Rafting and other activities. I will be sharing more videos about the rafting when I finish downloading and editing from my GoPro 😬. The staff there are very helpful and caring. The guide was amazing and friendly and we felt like one family. We have done rafting for around 2 hours in the river. Really nice experience 👍”
