“Harford Community College has helped in several ways in various stages of my life. First time I went there was to study core credits so that I could transfer them to UMBC where I graduated in Mechanical Engineering. Then I went went here for another 4 years when I was an HVAC apprentice. Became a licensed HVAC Journeyman. Then I brought both my kids to the HCC Early Learning Center for daycare. This place is so nice because it helped me get my start in my education, and has been there when I changed careers for a period time. It all came full circle. I couldn't find a job as an Engineer, so I did HVAC. Eventually, I got hired to design HVAC for buildings, and then became licensed as a Professional Engineer. I am very happy today. I got my start at HCC.”

I'm on my last semester at NIU and I believe the whole NIU experience would have been 10 times harder if not for all the help I got from the instructors at MCC. They truly do care about each and every student and are willing to help them succeed.
