“Were very caring and tried to work with me the best they could for my cat. They only charged about 300 dollars for a weekend stay on iv fluids to treat kidneys. When I took my dog elsewhere before to an emergency pet hospital they tried to charge me almost 1200 for a weekend stay when we thought he was poisoned. Now I know where to take my pets if ever they need care. Also, they are very compassionate here and don't treat your pets like a task or number.”

“This place did a great job with the check up and offering relevent, accurate information on dog care. The wait was pretty long though on both occasions so make sure you give yourself plenty of time for your visit. Next time I'll ask when is a good time to avoid a long wait. Easy fix! Hint: be sure to sign the "no treatment without prior consent" paperwork and remind them before they take your pet anywhere. Over all, I'm satisfied with the treatment.”

“My cat got into a bottle of Zyrtec around 3 in the morning. I looked up the closest animal hospital to me and ended up at Como Park Animal Hospital. I told the vet tech what happened and she had me fill out some paperwork. She then let me know that I should call pet poison control, as if they called I would have to pay an additional fee. She said she wasn't going to charge me for an appointment unless poison control said he needed medical attention of some kind. She even let me use an exam room while I was on the phone. Luckily, poison control said he had ingested a small enough dose that I just needed to monitor him and take him back in if he started acting abnormally. The call to poison control cost $59 versus the hundreds of dollars I thought I would have to spend! The vet tech was so kind and accommodating that I will definitely be going here in the future!”

“I brought my dog TobyJo in because of an allergy. The ladies in the office were so nice & helpful. And had a great repore with the other parents & fur babies that came in. They made me feel very welcome. The previous veterinary hospital I had taken TobyJo to back in November made me feel less than & were VERY rude! “I can't say enough good things about this veterinary hospital! I keep exotic pets (large birds) and it's always a struggle finding vets for them. A few months ago when one of my birds had a medical emergency I had no idea where to go. It was over the weekend and all the other veterinarians in town were either closed, wouldn't take me without an appointment but were booked up for days, or straight up didn't take exotics at all. I had never heard of Maroa Track Pet Hospital, but one of the other veterinary clinics suggested I give them a try. When I called Maroa Track they told me they could see me right away, and asked me to call again when I was in their parking lot. Once I arrived I found the building was closed for the weekend (doors locked, lights off). I called as they'd requested, and within minutes the lead veterinarian and his assistant pulled up in the lot, and despite it being their day off they opened up the building and got my pet into an exam room right away. They allowed me to stay with my pet during the whole process (unlike some places that take your pet into the back for emergency treatment). They were kind, thorough, efficient, and were able to prescribe and provide all the medications my pet needed right there on site. They gave me detailed instructions so I could provide several weeks of medical care from home and avoid further veterinary costs, and even went the extra mile and marked all the oral syringes for me so it was easier for me to measure my pets dosages. When they were done I was expecting a very high price tag which is the norm for emergency care, especially on an exotic pet and factoring in that they came in on their day off, but the price was only a couple hundred dollars. In the week following my appointment I received daily phone calls from Maroa Track to check in on how my pet was recovering. I've never experienced that level of care for an animal from any other veterinarian. This place GENUINELY CARES for animals, and puts their love of animals above all else. I can't thank them enough for all they did for me and my pet. I truly wish the folks at Maroa Track all the very best with their business, and I'll be letting all my friends know about the wonderful experience I had here!”
