Atlas Tube Recreation Centre

Although we only had time for one minor hockey league game the facility was very impressive. The staff and or volunteers were efficient in ensuring Covid protocols were were met, kudos. We were in awe, coming from Chatham, that a smaller community could have such a facility and wished ours could/would have done the same. It is actually embarrassing. Great thing for the younger generation you have.

Watched a game in the larger rink area (Rock). Very clean, nice venue. Best part was the temperature. It was very comfortable. Probably about 18c/66F.

Been to Atlas Tube a few times. When Atlas Tube is open I reccomend swimming there. I have also been to a couple hockey games there which went quite well. There is also a library, however I have not personally been in the Library. Prices are alright as well. Highly recommend for when Atlas Tube reopens.

It's one of my favorite local attractions to the Lakeshore area. The arena is modern, clean, the staff are friendly and attentive and it contains a banquet hall, indoor pool, splash pad, activity rooms, library, soccer fields and 3 ice pads. Great space for athletic intellectual and social, needs.
