    If you went to the trouble to ferry your RV over to the island and you wish to plug in (electrical) - this is your only option. The other campground does not offer hook ups. The Main Station is a bit rough around the edges (little junk piles here and there waiting to be removed) - but that is part of its charm. Know that the property is under new ownership and management and is in a transition phase to upgrade. Improvements are underway. The proprietor is helpful and friendly. The vibe is good. Clean shower facilites with reliable hot water. The restaurant makes a good burger and excellent fries. This is a great place to drop your trailer and use as a base of operations while you explore the rest of the island. Highly recommend.

    Owners went above and beyond providing lodging for guest I had for a wedding on the island. They made sure everyone was comfortable and set-up. Rooms were clean and all had a lovely time. I will certainly use the Main Station for lodging again!

    Clean and very large sites. Large fireplaces, space is very nice. Bike trails, fishing, winery, bakery , Oelle Arts store open....all near by. Seen alot of garden snakes, harmless. PEOPLE are all friendly, helpful and pleasant.
    Hoping for a great 2022 for the island, support is important!
