South Windsor Animal Hospital

I always feel confident bringing my puppy here. He's never fearful and always very excited to see the techs. Everyone is helpful and patient with me over the phone - even if I'm just calling to ask about totally normal puppy things that I get anxious about. Dr.Chamandy has been incredible and answered all of our questions as well as helped guide us along the way. We couldn't ask for a better place to take our Winston!

They are really good with my dog. Dr. Quinn was very sweet with her. My dog usually hates going to the vet and for the first time I have ever heard that she was calm sitting on a vet's lap. Mind you this is during the pandemic and was recent, they handle the pandemic precautions really well and consulted over the phone.
I also have hamsters and Dr. Quinn also sees hamsters as well. Which is a big plus for me.

Recently found a tick on my 4 year old Rottweiler and I called the hospital to ask for next steps. My call was answered quickly by Sue who kindly answered all of my questions and told me to bring the tick in so they could identify it. The tick was identified and I was told to make an appointment for the medication and an overall examination. We first met the vet tech, Amy who was amazing, so friendly and Prince who is otherwise nervous about the vet felt comfortable with her. Since we are not allowed into the hospital at this time, we talked to Dr. Quinn over the phone who explained everything thoroughly and answered any questions or concerns I had. She was very knowledgeable and kind. I would highly recommend this animal hospital and it’s staff.

Unfortunately had to bring our dog here on short notice to have her put down. The staff were all very helpful, caring and clearly love working with animals. They handled everything very professionally, and didn't rush anything. Under better circumstances we would've loved to have brought any pet there. Maybe one day if we ever decide to get another dog. Thank you to all the staff for making it as pleasant an experience as it could possibly be.
