Dr McLean grew up in Scotland. He was born and raised just south of the city of Glasgow. He attended the University of Edinburgh Medical School graduating in 2011. He went on to complete his post graduate foundation and specialty training (residency equivalent) in Glasgow, Forth Valley and Tayside health boards in Scotland. This involved 4-6 month rotations in hospital and community posts including: General/Orthopedic Surgery; Stroke/General Medicine; Emergency Medicine/Pediatric Emergency Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Psychiatry. The final year was spent in General Practice.

In 2016 he moved on to independent practice. Initially working as a sessional/locum GP in various practices along with out of hours (urgent care) General Practice for the health board.

Dr McLean started his practice in Windsor in February 2018 shortly after relocating to Canada. Since then his practice has grown and is now thriving. He is now looking forward to building on this to best serve the community for many years to come.

    Dr. McLean is very friendly and takes good care of my issues. I'm glad to have found him after my last doctor retired. If I have an issue the girls have been able to get me in right away. They are also great.

    Very knowledgeable, friendly, young modern doctor. The ladies up front are quick, polite and personable. I've recommended this office to all my friends and family.

    Dr. McLean is very knowledgeable and personable. He is friendly without wasting your time, and he is up-to-date on current treatments and methods. He was quick to recognise warning signs in my blood work, and quickly sent me to the necessary specialists. I know his predecessor at this clinic was a train wreck, but most of the negative comments about the Wyandotte/Lauzon clinic are in regards to the old doctor. Dr. McLean is a new addition, and he's a very good doctor. I'm so glad to have found him right in my neighbourhood.

    Small clinic, runs very efficiently (props to the secretary), has pharmacies nearby for Rx needs. I came into Dr. McLean's practice from a walk-in clinic model that just didn't work for our busy special needs family. Dr. McLean has been able to identify issues I had been having long term, got me to the correct specialists in a super-timely manner and was able to get me started on medications to help my symptoms while awaiting surgical interventions. It is a testament to his care I haven't been to the ER since joining his practice. (So far always adequate parking in back)
