“My husband and I spent a week at Bondy House in August. We loved it so much we have booked another three nights just after Christmas. Our hosts Carolyn and Merv made us feel very welcome. Breakfast began with fresh fruit and yogurt, croisants hot out of the oven, coffee, tea and juice. Our mains included eggs our way along with different bacon types and was served with a prettily designed fresh tomato display. Toast and cereal rounded it out. Our room had an extremely comfortable queen size bed and a beautiful ensuite shower. This was our base and we walked all over the area, coming back for tea and a rest before heading out again. Absolutely perfect spot right downtown across from the waterfront.”

“The wait was worth it!! Having a walk-in schedule can be difficult to be seen the moment your pet needs care. It took me a couple of days but the front desk staff gave me places that could get my dog in if it was an emergency. My dog was not in an emergency situation so I waited a few hours and called in to check if they could get my dog seen for his annual appointment. The staff was courteous and accommodating in person and on the phone even when having to turn patients away due to being over booked. I appreciate the all the staff and their dedication to pets of all kinds. The veterinarian that saw my dog was great and I appreciate all the time she took to answer my questions. I am thankful for this place and the staff that make this office my first choice!! My advise is be patient and be flexible!!”

It’s the perfect location, walking distance to so many great restaurants and shops, the waterfront, and wineries. “We ended up leaving Lake Minden RV Resort a night earlier than expected. Here's why... The campground was very nice though: big spaces, far from the freeway, clean bathrooms, etc... However, the lake was closed to everyone except the jet boats while we were there. The temperature was over 100*. It was a disappointment to be thought of as not as valuable as the jet boats. I understand that it is a safety is, however, I wonder: did we not pay the same rate as the jet boats? Moral of the story? Ask if ANYTHING is closed while you are going to stay there. Maybe ask for a discount if your purchase is not going to include the full slate of amenities advertised.”
