I am a bit gluten intolerant but I can eat an entire personal sized one and not bloat too much or have the sharp pains I typically get after eating pizza. I love this spot because of the variety too - the topping combinations are more exciting than at a typical pizza spot. Fresh ingredients and NEVER burnt. “Found my new favourite healthy lunch spot. Can't wait to bring my friends back to try it. My favourite is The Orient Bowl. The owner, Tanya was so accommodating, I mixed it up and used the sweet tangy sauce and it was mind blowing. It was a good sized portion and I'll definitely get it again. “Good food and friendly service. I was shocked when I saw the employee microwaving the falafels and rice and lentils. I strongly feel that they need to prepare these from scratch. Employee forgot my side order of falafels and charged me twice on my debit card. I would still come again. I would recommend asking for the receipt. I don't believe this was done in bad faith.”

“Looking for a breakfast restaurant open early that wasn't a chain, I found this gem in a plaza. My breakfast consisted of 2 eggs (done any way I wanted), 4 pieces of well-cooked bacon, a toasted English muffin (I substituted for the toast) , and coffee. I didn't have to wait long and the meal was excellent! Service was excellent too! I will definitely return and highly recommend!”

“Absolutely hands down the best food I have had in a long while! The menu is unique and caters to many different tastes. I ordered the pink lady chicken and waffles for myself and an oxtail platter with rice and peas and festival. I also couldn't help myself and got some plantain and corn bread for good measure. Food was delivered hot and fresh and in sturdy packaging. Now I have never tried chicken and waffles before but let me tell you....this sandwich is something I will not forget any time soon! The flavour is bursting from it.....it has creamy coleslaw and a sauce on the sandwich and your syrup on the side and I found myself forgetting about the syrup because it was so good without lol. I could only finish half personally. My boyfriend also enjoyed his oxtail...the rice was perfect and the meat was tender and flavourful. He says he would definitely order it again and thats saying something because he is picky. I already can't wait to try something new. Thanks for providing us with something new and we look forward to experiencing so much more!”

Drafty by the front windows and door. This place can get packed, once it gets packed everything slows down, however if your not in a hurry, who cares. When ever my family and I pass through Essex with hunger for a good breakfast, this is were we stop. Try it out or not, I'm not your mom.”
