The is humble especially the beach seller is most favourite and recommended item of the restaurant. “First time at the Pepper Cat, we've been to the Salty Dog many times. The atmosphere is more upscale and is more tailored to couples on an evening out. We chose the upper level and had a fantastic waitress take care of us. Full of energy and happy to be there taking care of us. We were with another couple and chose the warm herbed focaccia loaf and watermelon salad as appetizers. For the entrees we decided on the tomahawk steak dinner for two for us guys and the girls each got chicken Lafontaine. The meals were fantastic. We all tried a bit of each other's meal. The accompaniments we're also excellent and they all went well with the drinks we chose. Everyone there was happy and had a good sense of humour which adds to the overall evening. A great place to have a dinner with good friends or just your significant other and then a nice stroll in the historic and beautiful downtown Amherstburg. We'll be back!!”

“I had some samosas, spring rolls, and my children had some of the buttered naan bread. The prices were great and the food was tasty. I mentioned how it brought back fond memories of the samosas I used to buy when I used to go to the University of Windsor. It turns out the chef here made samosas at the U of W when he went there. Very friendly chef and I wish him the best.”

“Decided to try something from Campbell pizza since it was local and within walking distance, and I thought why not? Though I have heard some questionable things about the food, I was hungry and wanted a poutine. Ordered a large poutine through door dash and went on my way to pick it up. It took about 15 minutes to get home. Once I was all set and ready, I sat down ready to eat and... appearance wasn't top-tier thats for sure. Looks aside, I decided to give it a try and it was actually super yummy! It also wasn't a knock off, real cheese curds, however there was definitely a good 20% cheese to fry ratio, most just being on the top and none really anywhere else. If I had to give some constructive criticism, I would ask for a more sturdy container. By the time I got it home during a light walk, half the gravy was on the bottom of the container and on the bag. Also a touch more cheese, even just a piece or two at the bottom. Other then that I would happily come back to try it out again! Next time I'll try the pizza, but yeah! 4/5”

“What a cute place! Have lived in Windsor a long time but never made it out to this winery. It is definitely worth the visit. We did a wine flight for $14 and you pick 5 to try. The staff were super great with us too (Amy and Reece). We even got a slushie wine at the end of it (lemonade was good). Our faves wines from the list were the summer chill and the Chardonnay. We enjoyed them on the park benches beside the building. There’s also a small lavender farm as you drive in.”

Somehow they have managed to create an onion ring with a coating that is the perfect thickness and incredibly tasty (no ketchup required for a real taste sensation!)The foot long was absolutely delicious and the best I’ve ever had! There’s a reason they’ve been in business for so long and one visit will tell you why. With the picnic tables, umbrellas and the beach right next to you, it’s a truly one of a kind experience. The staff were very friendly and made us feel right at home. We will definitely be making return visits!”

“Royal Sushi House has become one of our staples for take out. Dining in is an equally delicious experience. The booths are comfortable and cozy.
