Custom Colour Carpets and Rugs

I could not be happier with the way my rug turned out! I looked ALL over the GTA for someone who not only cleans and restores, but dyes old hand woven rugs. I found nobody until I found Karllon in Thorold.

I've had this Persian rug for well over 15 years. Unfortunately the yellow colour wasn't making the cut with the new home and new furniture. I was desperate to have it "bleached" (oxidized) and dyed to a more neutral greige. I couldn't fathom spending over 5 grand (minimum) for a new handmade rug or selling this one for any less. In came Karllon from Custom Colour Carpets and Rugs. I must say I was extremely hesitant to have my rug dyed because I know that achieving a lighter tone (or antique wash) is harder than cleaning and going darker. Karllon explained the process, what he can do realistically, and what to expect based on present colour combinations of the rug.

Needless to say, he was a pleasure to work with and did an incredible job with the rug. And all within an exceptional timeline and price range for the craft he offers. It was absolutely worth it, and I am so satisfied with the final product. I will say that I am already thinking about bringing over my other rugs for a cleaning and restoration!

Karllon provided excellent service to fix the bleach stains in my off white carpet. I thought I would have to replace my carpet after I tried to clean a couple of spots with bleach, a really bad idea. I was beside myself as it was an expensive wool rug. I found Custom Colour Carpets on Google. Karllon carefully did his work and expertly added formulations to match the discoloured spots back to their original shade so that the carpet is good as new! What a relief and I highly recommend their fabulous service for anyone needing colour correction or carpet cleaning.

Karllon was very courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. We had a rather expensive throw carpet made of Alpaca, that had pet stains from our puppy being trained. Despite our best efforts, we thought the carpet was ruined. After calling Custom Carpets, they reassured us it wasn't a problem, and they were even familiar with the type of carpet which we were surpised about. They booked the work promptly and did such a fantastic job we can't even tell where it is on the carpet anymore. They also cleaned the stain in our rental unit with the same fantastic results. They gave us follow up chemicals to use in the future to maintain the carpets. And those products work even better than expected. All in all I would highly recommend them. They will be the first number I call in the future.

In July 2020, there was a pet bleach stain on our carpet. It left a white circular mark. I called this company and they were very reassuring and quick to respond. They fixed my carpet and I was astonished at this work; it looked new again. Then a couple weeks later Karllon followed up with me to ensure I was satisfied with the work. This team is very professional, detail-oriented and their work speaks for themselves. I highly recommend this lovely team.
