“A nice place to visit on the shores of Lake Ontario. Lot of arrangements to relax and enjoy the serene surroundings like a Gazebo, benches, picnic tables, grills, nice open spaces and lawns. We were greeted with some friendly birds and squirrel as we were enjoying our lunch. The water in the lake was amazingly blue, thanks to bright sunshine we got to enjoy today. Overall a pleasent experience.”

“Gone to this beach twice and loved it both the times! Such a peaceful beach! The best part is that it's not crowded like other places and easy to reach by bus. Also, the washroom is close by. Perfect place to have a family outing or a picnic.”

“Pro tip: park and enter just south of 10638 Quarry Rd. Came on a Thursday, had the place almost to ourselves. The trail is quite exposed, so on a sunny day you'll want to be prepared. It's a cool place to explore, find fossils, and enjoy a different view.”

“Took the dog for a walk through the park. It appears to be well maintained and clean. The tennis courts were in use and quite active while a baseball game was going on in the adjacent diamond.”

“Nice trail, plenty of spots to fish, not a ton of bites. If your purely hiking the trail is somewhat short.”

“Come see one of the oldest sugar maple trees in Canada, estimated at 300 - 500 years old. The tree itself is surrounded by a fence to help protect it, leaving only a small area for walking and parking for four vehicles. Look for a faded conservation area logo sign on the south side of Metler road marking a single lane dirt road to the tree.”

“While the Heritage Trail in its current state is not the longest trail it is a nice quaint walk. Lots of birds to be heard and the path itself is well maintained. The trail goes between a community of houses leading towards the back of some Vineyards. With future expansions the Heritage Trail can only get better.”

“Not sure why they call it a park, it's more of an uneven open field with tons of rocks. Not what I thought it would be. That said, it is nice that it's not full of families and screaming kids, it is a nice place to get away. There is an actual park attached to it so families can go there. Lots of nature sounds, forested areas, birds, like a diamond in the rough of the city limits. I read another review that said it's full of ticks, I can imagine at this time of year it would be, it's not maintained. Dress appropriately including hiking boots.”

“First time for me visiting, my overall experience was beyond amazing. The entire campsite had tons of activities going on including the big water slide,The swimming pool is perfect for family time and not too deep (max 5 feet), miniature golf, basket ball court, a shuttle to go into Niagara Falls, and bike vehicles that could be for a group of four or individual. They even had a bouncy castle for the small kids. The bathrooms were great and had showers with stalls along with a bathtub. The office is well stocked with camping necessities if you run short of supplies. Also has if fire wood, ice cream and slushy, a gift shop and a Arcade. They also have a rec room with different events for kids and family e.g dances for kids etc.”

“Conveniently located next to the highway and yet we couldn’t hear it. Comfortable beds, good quality towels, view of the river… great value for money. Good central location for us as we were there to explore the wineries, the falls and the surrounding areas. Staff were friendly and informative. Morning refreshments of fresh juice and muffins provided.”

“Went SCUBA diving at the park and was not disappointed. The quarry is spring fed and has excellent visibility compared to other local quarries. There are lots of fish in the quarry. I saw sunfish, bass, trout, and a very large catfish. The water is warm and the park isn’t over crowded. Admission price is fair at $15 for a day. A great place to come on a hot day to swim, sail, or just relax in the water. Will be back again!”

“A nice little park to bring your kids. The play area has swings, slides, and a climber. Parents can sit on the nearby benches and watch their kids play. The park has no trail but it is surrounded by a sidewalk that gives you opportunity to walk a few steps. It is not maintained in winters, so be cautious when using in colder months.”

“Great service by Khalil at a great price. He threw in a bunch of much needed fixes (new seat post, reflectors) with the spring tune up at no charge on 4 bikes. He's a pleasure to work with and very accommodating. I will definitely go here again.”
