They were very accommodating with my difficult work schedule; my house closed four days ago and I still haven't seen it in the light.. they were really good with seeing houses when I could get there. The windows selected are energy efficient. This is obvious by the lack of draught coming into the house; not only that, but the outside sounds from the windows are muted. The windows add to the overall pleasant look of the house both indoors and outdoors. The work was done in an extremely professional manner by workers who respected the indoor and outdoor environments. The workers were friendly and personable. They cleaned up after themselves. Fern Bell was clear in the services that would be provided, and the timeline of completion. Fern was in touch regularly to ensure that the work was proceeding as agreed to. “This place is such a gem and it's completely free. The docs allow swimming and there's usually scuba divers here too. There is a place where you can rent paddle boards and kayaks to enjoy the canal. Or you can just come down and fish. There is a skate park at the entrance and near the back there are Adirondack chairs under some beautiful trees close to the canal. There are 24-hour public washrooms. There is a walking/biking trail that is paved. I just can't say enough about this place. I've been doing the van life for the last 2 months. I started coming here a month ago and I stay overnight quite frequently and I've never had a problem. The people are friendly. The water is very clear and quite warm. Amazing place.”

“This is a pretty good thrift store, with plenty of clothing, dishware, books, etc., the usual stuff, and quite clean, but my one and only complaint is that there are a couple of individual volunteers who are consistently rather miserable, verging on rude. Not the right place to volunteer if you're regularly berating customers at the cash and especially if there are two prices on one item, insisting that the higher price is the correct one! I will regularly make cash donations to the charity thrift shops, so I'm not being cheap. It's just that you should either get the pricing correct, or give the customer the benefit of the doubt. Had you charged me the lower of the two prices I would have gladly popped the difference in price into the pot, but not when you take such an attitude about it.”

“Didn't expect too much . Room with 2 queen beds on the 2nd floor was 100$. Children slept on 1bed. Smell of Indian curry and smoke was but a little. The linen was clean, no bed bugs. Chairs were a little dirty. Bathroom is ok. There were soap and shampoo. The best thing is refrigerator and microwave are in the room. The neighbors were too noisy at night in the 3d floor. For this price it is super room. If you want luxury, pay 500$.”
