“I was with Scotia Bank for about 12 years or so. I had nothing but problems. When I would cash checks they would hold them. The checks came from work. (Yes my work is old school) when I would do my taxes it would be cashed once a year. No holds. The reason why "they didn't know if I was taking a pic and cashing it, so it had to clear" if that was the case then every check should have been held. Including Government checks, and tax returns. I switched over to RBC and they made me feel welcomed. The service is 50× better then Scotia. I find the staff more friendly, upbeat and respectful. RBC was a great choice to switch banks and I would suggest to do so. Stay away from Scotia Bank at all cost. They have rules that make no sense and are not consistent. No holds now since I have switched.”

Then the wonderful ladies in the optical were also very informative in explaining different lens choices and took the time to describe how they differed from big box stores, which I didn't even realize there was a difference until now.
