“Today I had the best Swiss Chalet quarter chicken w/ fries meal I have ever had! The chicken was tender, the fries were crisp but not too crisp, and the Chalet sauce was piping hot, just perfect for dipping the yummy roll! The interior of this restaurant is small but meticulously maintained. The wait and counter staff were friendly, and my food was brought promptly to my table by a very friendly gentleman who I assume is the manager. Well done! I don't live nearby but if I am ever in the area again and in need of some Swiss Chalet, this will be my go-to spot!”

“The high quality service at this restaurant is matched only by the delicious food. Our waiter, Alfie, was incredible, and never let any of our glasses go less than half full. It was the perfect venue for my sister's intimate wedding reception with a formal, cozy atmosphere. Everything was made fresh from scratch, which showed in the flavour. The calamari was the best I have ever had, with a very unique creamy jalapeno dipping sauce and fresh tomato sauce. I highly recommend this restaurant either for an evening out, or an event, such as a party or wedding. Their price point is reasonable and the food is unforgettable!”

“I stopped into Green Acres on April 23rd 2022 and ordered a Fish Fry… It came with Italian Wedding Soup and French Fries… This fish fry was amazing, it was cooked to perfection… the Italian Wedding soup was superb. Just so happy this great place is back to waiting on customers. This place has always been great… if you’ve never eaten at Green Acres you are missing out… This place has a very loyal following, but driving by you would never assume what a GEM this place is! For 25yrs I’ve been enjoying Green Acres food and great service… you should too!”

“I tried Guac for the first time yesterday. Staff were great and super helpful. They appeared to know lots of the locals which is great to see. Our meal was very tasty and ingredients were fresh. I would recommend them to anyone. Only criticism (very minor) is that they didn't have any music playing in the restaurant where we dined. Aside from that it was a lovely meal Washrooms were very clean and there was an accessible washroom as well.”

“This place is absolutely amazing. We have had dozens of boxes from Chz Plz, and they never disappoint. The owner, Marisa, is lovely and always accommodating. My partner surprised me with a large box for part of a birthday surprise, and it was massive. There’s easily enough in there for four people, if not more! I am always pleased with the varieties of meats and cheeses, as well as the accompanying fruits and veggies. One nice change they have made is including a QR code on the box. When you scan this code it brings you to a link that shows what is in the box. I highly recommend to try Chz Plz if you are looking for charcuterie.”

“We came in on a recommendation as we are from out of town. So good!! The crispy pickles were excellent. Prefer a tempura style crisp over the typical breaded and fried pickles. Pizzas were perfectly cooked thin crust. Finished with the goat cheese and berry salad also great! We will def be back when we are in town. Service was also fast and friendly. Well done team!”

“As unhealthy as it is the kernels 11 herbs and spices are a guilty pleasure. I don't like to admit that i like to eat KFC. Having said that, there's this kid that works there who is so unbelievably nice. He makes sure that the food comes out fresh and hot. He doesn't like anything to be sitting around and getting cold or soggy. I normally order online and pick up. When I do this kid is so apologetic because he feels either the french fries or the chicken may have sat around to long so he wants to make a fresh batch. He must have had his head bitten off by a few customers who are too impatient to wait because he's so apologetic about it.”

“From the time we got to the door it was an incredibly welcoming environment. Our server was friendly, the food was absolutely delicious! The best part of the experience was speaking to the owners, having them come by to ensure our experience was going well. We sat out on the patio for lunch - perfect day with a cool breeze. I had the blackened perch tacos, small but don’t let the size fool you, they are full of flavor my wife had the chicken kebab wrap, this thing was huge but cooked to perfection. Highly recommend you try their in-house made craft beer, The Drive. Great summer blonde ale for a hot day. Will visit again! I enjoyed the bacon wrapped jalapeño, the wings I wasn’t as crazy about (they were pretty small wings). On Mondays they have selected appetizers at 1/2 price and $8.99/lb of wings with purchase of beverages. Liver and onions was delicious. Steak was decently cooked. I enjoyed my chicken parm. The linguini pasta primavera wasn’t such a hit; the sauce was a bit too much and too thick. Service was a bit slower and food did take longer to arrive. But overall the quality and quantity of their food was great! Pizza that I brought home was undercooked…the Philly steak pizza was very light on toppings…”

The answered, yes they were open, and were very apologetic. When I got to the window to pay, the woman at the window was insistent that she give us donuts or pies on her, because we were waiting. She absolutely did not have to do that. Such amazing customer service. I wish I got her name, so I could praise her. I wish much success for her and that Harvey’s location!”
