“5 stars are not enough to describe this place. Greeted upon our arrival by Ron and Lynn. Very warm and welcoming from the start. Full of information about the islands history and so much more. The cottage was spotless when we walked in. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfy beds. Awesome shower pressure!!! The back deck is a hidden gem. The sounds of day, plenty of birds to watch and listen to. At night the fire flies crickets among other insects was amazing. The Deck across the road to gaze across lake Erie was a spectacle in itself as each night the Sun and lake gave an amazing show of colour and wildlife. As this trip happened during COVID the island was very quiet. So it was a perfect escape from the hustle n bustle of everyday Toronto. The beaches are amazing the water clean. Would we be back? In a second!! If you haven't been to Pelee Island put it on your list. Thank you so much Lynn and Ron for an amazing Stay, the garlic and tomatoes are outstanding!! Will for sure see you again in the future!!”

“This is a regionally run retirement home. It's clean, as welcoming as this type of environment can be. With the exception of a couple of people, I would say it shines on the staff alone. To be a nurse or PSW in somewhere like this should take a love of the job and a care of the people. I'd say about 90% of the staff exemplify that. The other 10% shouldn't be allowed around other human beings. Overall it is a necessary service, and I think it's makes the best of the cards it is dealt.”

“Great location and walking distance to the falls and attractions! Includes FREE parking! Ms. Suzie, the owner, is very friendly and caring. Her home is clean and beds are comfortable. She prepared a wonderful organic breakfast (juice, assortment of fresh fruits, assortment of breads, eggs -cooked to order, bacon, hash browns, sliced tomatoes and coffee). It was more than we could eat and she even offered for us to take some fruit along with us for our day trips. The best part of our day was breakfast on the patio overlooking her lovely flower garden and the Niagara gorge. She even took time to join in our conversation at breakfast. Our family highly recommends a stay with Suzie vs the overpriced hotels that tack on additional outrageous parking fees. “I contacted Irene after seeing some of her watercolour paintings displayed in the vineyards I visited in Niagara-on-the-Lake. I was interested in a vineyard painting as a 70th birthday gift to myself. Irene was immediately responsive and welcomed me into her home studio to select a framed print. I'm so happy with my choice. Irene even gave me the option to have thank you cards printed up with my watercolour printed on the front. During these times of COVID concerns, I have to say that I felt very safe in her studio. Appointments are arranged so that only one client is present at a time. Irene's work is beautiful and would be a wonderful addition to any home.”

My breakfast consisted of 2 eggs (done any way I wanted), 4 pieces of well-cooked bacon, a toasted English muffin (I substituted for the toast) , and coffee. I didn't have to wait long and the meal was excellent! Service was excellent too! I will definitely return and highly recommend!”
