My most recent project is the largest in a while and with the help of of the Contractors Desk (I’m by no means a contractor) I got all the supplies I needed. The desk is headed up by Manager Roger and on this project I had the pleasure of dealing directly with (captain) Kirk. Kirk is a professional who knows how to interact with customers in a manner that makes the customer feel comfortable, no matter how goofy my questions were. While walking through the drive-through lumber area I met Dave who rattled off the top of his head my order perfectly. The order was dropped of this morning and was exactly what was ordered. The calamari salad was very nice, with mangos and cilantro. The calamari was tender and the overall flavour good. The Malaysian chicken skewers with peanut sauce were tasty, and the crabcakes were fresh and crispy. The spring rolls were unusual in that they were filled with vermicelli noodles and carrots, but again, they were hot and crispy. The servers were very professional and friendly, and the food came quickly. It is located in an old house, so had a nice atmosphere.”

“We have a family doctor. But we have had to come here a couple times because we needed after hours care. This place is exceptional. There is one thing specifically that makes it special. The woman at the front reception- I believe her name is Coleen. People are not feeling well, or their kids are sick, and they are not coming in on their best behaviour. But Coleen is so kind and empathetic. She treats people like she really cares and tries to help them the best she can. Because of this every situation becomes diffused and stays calm. Such a compassionate and competent person. The doctor is thorough, efficient and LISTENS when you talk. And the rest of the staff is very pleasant as well. The clinic itself is clean and spacious, so even if you have to sit and wait, it’s not so bad. It’s also extremely busy because there is only one other place in the city that accepts walk in after 4pm.”
