Excellent food and wine with friendly service. I can’t wait to come back for more!!
The range of prices is something rather unique. Some main dishes are under 10€ while some exceed 25€. I find such variety in cost uncommon and appreciate very much that one can dine modestly or splurge. Regardless, I imagine it all to be delicious!
Delicious food and very friendly staff! 😊
The appetizers were vegan and different than what you would find usually in restaurants, and oh so tasty. The chili dip provided was actually very hot, not just European hot. The dishes had ingredients and a little similarity to tropical south Indian cuisine.
PS: They have delicious fruit beers, my favorite being mango 🥭
Every once in a while, a remarkable person makes an experience special. Robert, the always smiling owner here, is such a person. His food is delicious, his stories are enthralling, and his presence is invigorating.
Here you will find African dishes, mainly based on Ewe cuisine, since Robert is Togolese. They are simple dishes, but very tasty. Some reminded me of Brazilian food, a testament to Africa’s influence in my own culture. It was my first time trying ostrich, and it was tender and juicy. The beans with manioc flour is exactly what I’d expect to find in Brazil 😋 yummy. Everyone was quite happy with the food and service. They offered us some shots on the house, one of which a spicy shot from dende palm, which was… surprising. Give it a shot!
We’ll definitely be returning here to try the rest of the menu.
Was really good! Something I have never tried till now in my life. We had this lamb soup with yam thingy cooked with peanuts sauce, that was genius! The owner was super funny and friendly, explained us a lot about African food culture and what is the specialty in the Western Africa. I had a great time ther :)
