My daughter and I had a 12-hour layover in Amsterdam before moving on to Madrid. We took the train to Central Station (about 15-20 mins) and walked about 10 mins to the bike rental location. Easily stored our carry-on bags and backpacks in the lockers (9 Euro), and rented bikes for the day for 8,5 Euro (each). Great experience!

Great service and friendly staff !!!
Fixed my flat tire fast and for a very decent fee.
And when I asked to look at my handbrake afterwards (as I forgot to ask the first time) , they fixed it for free!
Can only recommend this shop which is located at the heart of the city under the Beurs van Berlage next to the Stock Exchange and the Bijenkorf.

This shop has all the rare qualities of old-school Dutch bicycle shops. The staff is genuinely friendly and involved. Their repairs are technically accurate and the most affordable for what you need -- no more, no less.

They don't try to sell you something more expensive than what you need. Their prices and service costs are so honest and precise, it's humbling.
