  This tour was exactly what we were looking for...chill, a small group, a comfortable boat and a great captain. We learned some interesting history, navigated some tight hidden canals you'd never see from the street or in a large tour boat, and had a great time with those aboard. Captain Callum answered our questions and really provided a cool atmosphere. There are drinks on board if you want them. It was a really friendly experience.

  I loved this boat tour! Captain Jamie was very hospitable and caring, booking and on-boarding went very smoothly. I was charmed my the stories about historical buildings, Amsterdam local habits and specialities. This trips gives the real flavor of beautiful Amsterdam. You get blanket for a windy weather, and there is a drink selection incl. Good wine, for a fair price. Everything was excellent. Highly recommended!

  Recommended by a friend, not disappointed. So friendly and nice captain that took us through all of Amsterdam's amazing history and architecture. Money well spent for the 90 minutes that we got on the cute little boat. Cold beer and wine are for sale and you can bring your own snacks!

  The guide was very interesting and engaging - I came away with an understanding of how people of all classes lived here from the 16th century in Amsterdam till today . Lovely small quiet boat on peaceful canals and cannot recommend boat adventures highly enough.

  We had a wonderful time on the 90-minute daytime canal tour. The boat was very comfortable, with blankets and heated cushions provided for the potentially chilly spring weather. Jamie was an informative and friendly guide. We were so glad we decided to do this boat tour toward the end of our trip. Even after spending more than a week in Amsterdam, we still learned fascinating new things about the city! It's also a great way to see the city and take photos from angles that are only possible from the water. You can find lower prices on some larger-group boat tours, but the smaller group and more personalized experience from Amsterdam Boat Adventures is more than worth the slightly higher price. We would love to return someday and do the evening cruise. Overall an awesome experience!
