Eridge Rocks Nature Reserve

Outstanding natural beauty. Great for a nature walk and hike.

Lovely place for a relaxing walk and the dog totaly loved it

A beautiful area with paths around the rocks that are easy to follow. It is highly unusual to have bedrock above the ground like this in south east England, so it makes a nice, unusual place to visit.

From a purely aesthetic perspective, I would say that the nearby Toad Rock and Bull's Hollow are slightly more beautiful, but Eridge is larger and so it is a better location for an easy country walk.

Incredible place the big square stone's like somebody arrange it there, nice to walk in the forest good clean air and birds around playing

Lovely place to spend a few hours walking and climbing between the massive sandstone rocks - especially if you have kids, who absolutely loved it. We went in January so a little wet and muddy in places but will definitely come back in the summer and bring a picnic. Also seems to be quite popular with people with proper climbing gear, as every now and again we came across a small group of people abseiling down these amazing sandstone formations / mini cliffs.
