“What a fantastic place! My wife and I thought we'd drop in for a light lunch when we had an hour to spare. I have never been made to feel so welcome, so quickly, as we did here. Russell introduced himself immediately, and then went to great lengths to explain what local produce he had bought in today, and how he could serve us something delicious. Everything is home made, ingredients are locally sourced where possible, and the results are delicious. Cyclists and motorcyclists are welcome, and Russell is a keen fan of both sports. The walls are adorned with interesting bits and pieces, and his wife's products are offered for sale too. I can best describe our visit as follows: we walked in not knowing Russell, and left feeling like we'd known him for years. It felt like a friend was cooking us lunch. His enthusiasm, and passion for what he does is intoxicating. A really lovely place, which will absolutely become somewhere we visit regularly. Amazing. Cycle. Motorcycle. Walk. Drive. Just visit.”

“Always good fun fruit picking throughout summer, then Pumpkin picking in October. Plenty of parking and can get really busy at peak times of the year. There is a kids play park which my kids love. Food and drink is available, and a BBQ is usually available outside, only problem being the food and drink is quite expensive which is to be expected. Overall a good, fun outing for the family providing the weather is nice!”

“A very welcoming lady invited us in and was more than accommodating of the baby we had with us. It was a bit small and our group of 4 was clearly unusual, 2 regulars offered their larger table to us though which was kind. The sandwiches were lovely and the brownie had clearly been really delicious once if a bit dry. It was definitely from the day before but out in the middle of nowhere it is to be expected and it's better than if they were wasteful! Perhaps in future heating up such goods would be an idea. Overall I would definitely visit again if in the area just to try the scones”

“Really not bad at all!... Came here for a full English that wasn't the best I've had but still EXACTLY what I needed. The price of everything here was incredibly reasonable as well and the staff were absolutely excellent. “Honestly, I don't know how the hell I function some days without this place. Top coffee with absolutely superb customer service, and sausage rolls in winter to boot. The only downside to this place is its location - in order to enjoy said coffee and experience said customer service, one has to realistically be about to endure a journey on Abellio "Greater" Anglia, the public transport equivalent of the Eighth Circle Of Hell. Is the payoff worth it?? Not remotely. But, until they expand to the point they become the very global empire they are looking to disrupt, they will remain by far the brightest spot on every horrific morning commute. Hats off to you all. Now give me coffee.”
