Jubilee Pond, Wanstead Flats, Part of Epping Forest

Nice little pond, plenty of geese, swans and ducks to enjoy and benches to relax on. There's a small play park with swings & slides etc for the kids. It's a shame so many dump their litter there though.

Beautiful, wilderness unspoilt area.
The Council built the artificial pond with flora and wildlife in mind.

There's a children's play area that they can enjoy.

Nice place

I have had wonderful time there. The pond is full of wildlife birds, swans, ducks, geese, and many others. There is children playground next to the pond, a walking pathway, a bicycles parking area, a car park, a few shops, a pub and a café nearby. It is so relaxing to watch birds there.
The pond is located in Wanstead Flats park - a green open space between Dames Road and Lake House Road. It is a part of Epping Forest as a sign says there. It is also accessible via public transport ie. a bus 58 stops near it.
