  Probably one of the best vantage points in London affording views across the capital. The museum provides a look back into a more elegant history to when this was a private residence. Good food is provided and the location makes for an excellent day out with walks, pond swimming and even live music. If you visit London this should be included.

  An excellent place. The paintings, furniture and architecture are stunning and world-class. It has some of the best Rembrandt, Gainsborough and Reynolds paintings as well as a host of fantastic rooms to wander around perusing the wonderful furniture and interiors. The staff from English Heritage are excellent too - friendly, approachable and all with a wealth of knowledge about the superb artefacts present. A fantastic house to visit along with great gardens and estate. Kenwood House makes for a great family day out.

  A visit to Kenwood House, at the casual suggestion of a friend, impressed me greatly. The collection of art is stunning, and the house itself is an extremely fine example. The library in particular is very special. You should make sure that one of the volunteer helpers explains the ceiling at work. You need to allow at least half a day for a proper visit. And, make time for The Brew House, it has a well-chosen menu and a good selection of drinks. Highly recommended, do take time for a visit if you can.

  Rolling lawns, grand heritage House with decent restaurant (can get busy at peak times). Great for dogs, lots of places to explore and forest walks into the other parts of the heath. Lots of nearby free parking on Sundays

  Beautiful grounds, stunning views. Lots of trails to walk. Amazing paintings by famous artists. Ornately decorated rooms. Very friendly helpful staff. Very nice cafe... Home made soup delicious.
