    This hands down the best steak I have ever had. Rib eye, cooked rare. Succulent, melt in the mouth meat. Genuinely unbelievable. It felt like my tongue had emigrated to Steakopia and we were riding the flavour train all the way to pleasure town. My eyes rolled back in my head. It was almost awkward how much I enjoyed that steak in a public place. Beats Gaucho and Hawksmoor any day. Go spend your money here.

    The staff are amazing, so attentive without being pushy, little touches such as the waitress asking if I would like ice to go with my glass of rose wine. It was if she had read my mind and then presented a glass of ice with serving spoon for my wine. The starters were extremely tasty we had the chorizo which was so full of flavor, the tiger prawns which had a slight crumb to them which were nice and meaty and also the beef empenada which was beautiful. This was in addition to the bread and olives that are placed on your table upon ordering. We then followed this with a fillet steak, a rib eye steak, chip, creamed spinach and mushrooms. all of which was divine! It was the best streak I have ever had and I didn't know mushrooms could taste so good. My other half knocked his peppercorn sauce off the table all over the floor and seconds later the mess was cleared and a fresh sauce brought to the table without even having to ask. The service was flawless. Not surprisingly we didn't have any room left for dessert but stayed and finished our wine. We were given all the time in the world and were not pushed to ask for the bill or to leave the restaurant. All in all one of the best meals I have ever had and we certainly will be returning soon!

    Birthday dinner for six, including a vegetarian. I can only say it was the best steak I have had in many years. Feedback form my other guests equally good.
    Couple of reasons for not awarding five stars:
    1. "Acoustic" guitar player, but insisted on playing through some amplification, was too loud and really, not all that. Get rid of live music and concentrate on the food.
    2. Lights kept failing due to some electrical problem. Wasn't a biggie and we made do with candles and stuff, but made reading menu only possible using mobile phone torch.
    3. Was happy spending that money on a great evening for my partner's birthday, but quite pricey for the area. Central London prices rather than SE13.
